Keanu Reeves as Spike in the Cowboy Bebop Movie

Okay, well by now you have probably heard about the live action Cowboy bebop movie and have been wondering if Keanu reeves is the one, could he play the fluid role of Spike? Oh Great OT Tell me the answer.

I do believe it's set for spring or fall of 2011 but yeah, they finally set out the cast after making the script

well by far cowboy beebop has been the best anime ever produced in my eyes and i dont' think a live action would change that but i mean if it's a good live action i think it would be good but yeah, keanu

speaking of keanu's wooden acting i actually saw bill and ted's awesome adventure and i caught my self saying "totally" "radical" and so many other things that were just lame and they call me lame already

okay if there's something i agree on is that bebop should be taken as a great classic like any marvel hero recognition. If they do that i'll watch the movie regaurdless if they tell me it was badly done

keanu played in point blank was it where he shoots up into the sky while screaming i mean they critisize him for it but it was emotional

The movie has been in the works for years now. Keanu might make a decent Spike.

Keanu is a driving force behind the creation of this film. He wasnt cast in the role. He is the main person actively pushing for it. This gives me hope that he could do it justice. HOWEVER, last I heard (like 2 years ago) in a video interview with Keanu, was that there was an awesome script but it would cost Fox WAY too much to make. They were working on cutting it down, but i dunno. BTW, how do you cast Ed?wolverine4262

judging all of his movies....i dont think hed fit too well....i dont think hes animated enough to pull off some of the anime bull that he would need to do.....i can really think of anyone who would fit as spike......

I dont think what happen to dbz will happen cowboy bebop. Kengi Uchida will not not let what happen to dragon ball happen to cowbo bebop. the scirpt is supposedly to $500 million. that could be a good thing I guess. I wish we could hear whats going with this movie at comic con. I do want to know whats going with the ghost in the shell live action too. its suppose to be based off the manga I think.
