OMG if Popeyes made one, that would be my dream right there. KFC has some damn good chicken, and the Double down was good, but I scarfed it down so fast, it felt like it wasn't worth the price.I'll only have one when Popeyes makes one. Until then, no.

The Double Down is pretty good. I'm not sure why so many people (not the folks on this board apparently) think it's so disgusting. It's just 2 pieces of chicken, bacon and cheese. Most folks would consume that as part of a regular meal, but put it in a sandwich form and it's a whole different story.
On that same note, the KFC mashed potato and chicken bowls aren't bad either.
Horrible. Couldn't even get half way through it without wanting to throw up.
EDIT: Maybe that's a bit too harsh. It tasted decent for the first bite or so. But soon after it became clear that my body would almost immediately reject it. Fried chicken, cheese and bacon are good, but not when it tastes and feels like each bite is taken with a straight shot of a thick oil/salt mixture.
Mine was awful. I remember it being incredibly dry. I don't think I could even taste the bacon or cheese. Just dry chicken.
P. sure this is the motto of the Double Down. I've had one, but never again.Never again.

It's actually not as many calories or as fatty as a McDonald's burger, but it's still pretty sick. Me and friend has to try one when we were really drunk, don't really remember how it tasted.
I was checking out KFC's nutrition info and I was surprised to find that the Double Down is NOT the worst thing they sell. I think the thing with the most calories was the classic chicken sandwich @ 1000, Im pretty sure the double down was only like 600...but still, calories dont mean much, Im sure I would feel like a piece of trash after eating one.
y'all should check your facts:

I have yet to try one, and I want to keep it that way.-Fromage-I also have yet to try one. And I WANT TO. Because.. I live a life of gluttony.
The first and only time I tried it was just two huge pieces of chicken on top of each other. And that was mostly all I tasted. And the bacon was so flimsy. I felt cheated.swoosh18Exactly what I thought. I couldn't taste anything except overpriced chicken.
Sounds pretty good, and like someone else said, it's not a big deal, not a big deal at all. Two pieces of chicken and some bacon, wow. Yeah, you would eat it normally with no problem, but put it in a sandwich and suddenly it's a lot more unhealthy than it would've been before. Never understood that line of reasoning before.
I thought it would be ok, I don't usually mind big, greasy things, but it was either the spicy chicken or the sauce or something but it gave me a stomach ache, not to mention it was like $5 for a small sandwich.
Does anyone think an infant could handle a Double Down?

It'd probably make them very sick.
lol I have only had it once since they came out with it. It was pretty good, but I don't really need another.
