And I actually wondered at one point why our educational system was so far in the gutter compared to the rest of the world. Power-mad administrators, if not the root of the problem, must contribute to some part of it, worrying only about maintaining their stupid image while the kids under their tutelage languish in an academic and emotional prison. He shouldn't have even left the stage.
Someone needs to find the name of the superintendent and their email, I'm sure it would be pretty easy, then we could send thousands to emails saying how dumb we think they are. I'd do it if I knew what school district it was.ferrari2001

If was in that student's situation, I would have pointed to the super intendant and yell "TERRORIST!!!". Shortly SWAT would ride into the graduation in helicopters and take her away, and I would get my diploma. 8)
What a twisted woman, I would straighten her out if I were you TC.Wow what a ***** that woman has no business being in charge of that school district if she is that unstable. sheesh it was a freaking kiss! I hope he gets his diploma and her car goes off a cliff.
Seriously, was this graduation held in prison?

Or just carry a pin with you. :P
Yea... I wouldn't have gone back to my seat.

Yeah, if that was me I would have been like "No, how about you give me my diploma. Then I'll sit down."
At my graduation (Well my classes, I graduated earlier and never walked) the teachers took out switch blades and knifed the beach balls. I don't understand why these things have to be so formal and strict. I mean, no one wants to listen to people talk for hours and hours after they have spent years waiting for such a day. It doesn't make any sense to me.
And I would have punched that **** in the face if I were him.
How dare he break the CODE of CONDUCT of accepting his high school diploma!super_mario_128yea.... right.... cause given the situation..... the consequence was clearly deserved.... are you kidding me?
[QUOTE="CleanPlayer"]Yea, seriously I read this at yahoo and bursted out laughingPatatopan
Hmm, I guess that is an appropriate response, but anyways, if I was that kid I would have refused to sit down and would have caused a scene.
I would have made out with the principal....if she was a chick.I loled, good thing that they didn't call in the swat team.
"No arrests were made," Cumberland County Sheriff's Department Deputy Chief Kevin Joyce said. "The individual that was escorted off the stage was asked to leave the civic center. He was to the point where the deputy was starting to get to the point where he wanted to arrest the individual, but gave him several opportunities to settle down. Eventually, he took off his cap and gown and threw it at the deputy and walked out the civic center."

There is no doubt in my mind that the teacher is a feminists, which in turn lowers her self esteem, so she must try to control someone elses life to make her feel "empowered." Or this is just what High school is like, a bunch of crap, I am so home schooling my kids, I dont care the cost, and spare me the "but he will be a social recluse!" Guess what, I felt like a social recluse in High school, I think everyone did in some way, public schools are evil pure and simple. Its the mcdonalds of education, I rather pay a lot, and have my kid have a good education.
Couldn't have said it any better. :PWell at least the superintendent looks like complete ass now.
