Judging by his Avy/Sig, he's a nintendo fan. :x
That seems like a lot more than the typical murder case. I wonder if the video game connection is why they were pushing for such a hightened sentence.
He most likely has a mental disorder.
Or he's crazy? I'm tired of all these excuses for people to get off easy. He had to have some sort of common sense telling him not to kill your parents over a video game. If the kid was found mentally insane he would most likely stay in the institution much longer than what he was sentenced in prison.[QUOTE="Aznsilvrboy"]I assume that would be his 360's fault correct? I smell a lawsuit. He certainly didn't think it through than, because he now is not gonna be able to play a 360 for 23 years. So who is be accountable for his gaming addiction? The defense's argument was that Daniel was so young and so addicted to the game that he could not be held accountableLink334

I found this on a previous article. "In his testimony, Mark Petric recalled Daniel sitting both him and his wife down saying, "Would you guys close your eyes. I have a surprise for you." Daniel Petric then opened fire on his parents." That's just... D:SolidSnake35
That's sick...
Damn...it is these ***** that give video gaming a bad reputation:x...
Also how could anyone kill their parent over a trivial matter such as a video game? That's **** up man....

Holy s**tOhh and here come´s the blame wagon, Politician´s refusing to admit that the kid was as sane as Charlie Manson and that it was just and only just the video gamemessing him up.
Hell Halo 3 probably helped the kid from climbing up the water tower with a rifle.
It is a sad story though.
[QUOTE="freek666"]I loled. Well played sir.But did he finish the fight?
Avistann

Obviously, he's out of his mindHe almost got a double kill, but he couldn't get his dad's shield down.Statutory_AP3Should have used BR and 4 shotted him....
Thats it, people obviously cant have a responsible mindset towards videogames. This whole thing proves video games can lead to addiction, causes death, alter the addict behaviour causing harms to others in order to feed their need to play.
MAKE VIDEOGAMES ILLEGAL !!
This is something that i can't get into my head. Why would he choose materialism over his mothers love? Does it have anything to do with video games? Would he have done this if his mommy took his car away?
At any rate, I'm glad he's in jail. But 23 years on a kid? damn...
No, he chose to try to get a double kill. Isn't there an achievement for that? This is something that i can't get into my head. Why would he choose materialism over his mothers love? Does it have anything to do with video games? Would he have done this if his mommy took his car away?
