[QUOTE="efrucht"]This thread inspired me to check out more Mixed Martial Arts fights. I've never been a fan of any sports, but this stuff is fun to watch! Thanks OT!jfcundiff

Ouch, found that at yahoo. That sucks lol.

Yes you must check out Fedor. He is the greatest MMA fighter so far. You should also check out guys like Antonio Nogueira, Rampage Jackson, Mirko Cro Cop, Anderson Silva, Wanderlei Silva, Royce Gracie, Chuck Liddell, Frank Shamrock, Bas Rutten, Ken Shamrock(in his prime), Don Frye, and many others. There are so many good fighters to name, but you must start with the man, the myth, the legend, Fedor"The Last Emperor"Emelianenko. Watch some of his old PRIDE FC fights and then you will see what true MMA is, not this Kimblow Slice garbage Elite XC has on.

Silva is better than Fedor. Also, Cro Cop isn't what he used to be. Also, Kimbo is an MMA fighter. Ruten is training him. He has a long ways to go, but might as well give him a chance. Lidell just got dropped like a bag of bricks too.

You know, I don't understand the hostility towards Kimbo. He's a guy who likes to fight. He doesn't try to brag about being the best, he doesn't talk smack, he doesn't do any of that. Sure, he was way overhyped, but don't blame him, blame the promoters. I don't want him to stop fighting in EliteXC, I want to see him continue fighting. It's still very early in his career, just 4 fights in, I'm pretty sure he still has a chance to at least be a low level fighter. This is a good thing for Kimbo, I'm sure he'll take his training a good bit more seriously now.

Silva is good and I believe the #2 P4P fighter in the world. Fedor is #1 because of all the opponents he has beaten. Sylvia, Lindland, Nogueira twice, Cro Cop, Hunt, Goodridge, Coleman, Randleman, Fujita, Herring, and many more. His resume is impressive. That one loss he had should have been a NC, so you could still call him undefeated in some ways. Fedor ran through the best fighting org. in the world at the time in PRIDE FC and would most likely run right throught the UFC's HW division. Silva is great, but under Fedor.

Yes they are illegal. The ref will give a warning the first time and if you keep doing it they take a point away.

Your right. Even GSP could beat Kimbo. I listed more HW's and LHW's than anything else.
