Wow talk about mainstreaming it, all of those choices suck except Eminem.

And I'm only just from Slim Shady Lp to the Eminem Show, a few tracks from Encore and Relapse

I don't listen to hip-hop much, and to not pick any of those choice, I would say Jay Electronica

Yeah I get you, I only said Em, because he's the best on that list followed by Jay-Z, Kanye needs to go back to his College Dropout and Late Registration years for me to even respect him any more, and he also needs to shut up and stop trying to be a hipster rapper Lil Wayne is purely over saturated, overly marketed, overrated trash , and Drake is just Lil Wayne lite who's more suburban appealing, meaning Lil Wayne perfected to make more money, and he's a gimmick, not as nice a people says he his they're way better guys who can rip Drake to shreds(J.Cole comes to mind) and he's just more party rap and don't even bring up his early mix tapes, because they were also the same. His only draw is "Wow that Degrassi kid can rap! HARDCORE BRO!" He was never brought up organically, as the(corporate paid) blogs want you to believe, just cleverly marketed, just selling more personalities and egos to a generation of kids who don't have either. And Eminem isn't gonna get 2010 basically because Eminem mania died in 2003, he's not on his A-Game anymore(like a B), still nice as most guys on the radio now days. It's time to let some of these 90s rappers go(even Lil Wayne is a 90s rapper actually) and let new guys take their course, rap needs a refresh because this bling corporate rap, and Southern dance rap needs to lye it it's tomb.

Wayne is definitely more then he seems though, listening to his music has given me that. You learn a lot about him through it which I like. Drake is a great rapper and I can respect him. Birdman though, trash. Drake though has heart.

The Best guy on that list is Jay-Z, Eminem is 2nd.

But Wayne is currently the king of hip-hop without a doubt and this is coming from a guy who dislikes him.

But nobody on that list is the best rapper right now.

I only heard the last two Carter albums and part of he drought 2. The only song I enjoyed was his free style to Nas "If I rule the world"

All of it. It took everything I had to stop from killing myself after hearing ll of that nonsense.
