This is rediculus, king of the hill has been an awesome show for 13 years, and now their replacing it with a show about a side character on family guy. Couldn't king of the hill continue their series on adult swim if their getting cancelled on fox?

Old news. However, Fox has stated that there will air a handfull of episodes of give it a proper finale. I'm trying to find the link again.
None, of the American "man" shows are worthy of watching anyway. same premise, different characters.
What? King of the Hill as managed to stay funny for such a long time. Family Guy, on the other hand, has been terrible since it was brought back. And the Cleveland Show looks to be even worse. I mean really, who's dumb idea was it to take Family Guy's most uninteresting support character and make a spin-off about him?
I think the Cleveland Show will be funnier than King of the Hill. I never really found King of the Hill to be good at all.
This. Quagmire is awesome 8)I never liked Rednecks on the Hill to begin with. Also, I wish they would have choose Quagmire over Cleveland to have a show instead. Quagmire is freakin hilarious.

I never thought King of the Hill was that great of a show, the cleveland show doesn't look much better though.

good what a horribly boring show.

Agreed, everytime it comes on I have to turn the channel because I can't stand it.
Well if your a republican conservative, than king of the hill is a good show. And having a stupid protagonist gets old because it was done 100 times before.
Why does everyone hate King of the Hill? It must be because you people try to like the characters. Your suppost to hate them all, none of them have likeable characteristics. The whole show makes fun of its self, and alot of people just don't understand that.
South Park is good but it's also been losing steam recently (excluding the fish sticks episode, that was classic). They are both terrible shows, so I really could care less. South Park is where its at.

Yeah, I've been thinking the same. The disney/Jonas brothers was sort of funny, but thats the only other one I can think of this season that made me laugh as hard as something like the christmas critters one.

wow, you've obviously never seen the show....
Anyways, i understand that some of you find KotH boring because, heck, even i found it boring at first. But, once given the chance, the show is actually quite good. the characters have depth, its has quiet humor, and the plot is grounded in reality.
Either way, you guys have to admit that it is ridiculous for Fox to give Seth McFarlane (sp?) THREE SHOWS on Sunday primetime. Especially since Family Guy has sucked ever since resurrected and American Dad just blatantly blows. just my two cents.

king of the hill is more realistic comedy. many dont give it a chance. it deals with alotta issues while being hilarious. i loved all the characters of the show. What? If anything, King of the Hill is libertarian or populist. And the show's primary source of humor is not Hank's stupidity, but rather satire.Well if your a republican conservative, than king of the hill is a good show. king of the hill is awesome, but you have to get to know the characters first. there aren't any "jokes," its more of funny things in their life. well i cant really explain it but this is horrible that they're cancelling it, although the past couple seasons have been bad because so many of the episodes were cancelled for sports. (it got the worst time slot) watch the rabies episode and then tell me that dale isn't hilarious.
I don't care much forthe Cleveland Show, but I'm also far from sad about King of the Hill being cancelled. I never understood why it existed, or why people would like it - it had no charm animated shows usually have over "live action" TV. It was just like a boring, run-of-the-millnon-animated show about some family, except it was drawn. And it wasn't even remotely funny. And not even "trying to be funny but failing" - it was just not funny.
King of the Hill is the only good sitcom left on television. When that gets canceled, it's just going to be reruns and ESPN for me.savebattery
It already has. Plus, instead of airing the final six episodes on Fox, the network has stated that it will instead air them in syndication. here's a quote from the article:
Although the net still has six episodes of "King of the Hill" in the can, Reilly said he had no plans to run those remaining episodes, including one that had been produced as a possible series finale. Instead, those segs will simply go into the syndicated run of the show.
