Knight vs. Ninja

Who do you think would win in a fight?? A 14th century knight, or a ninja???

i prefer knights, they're cooler. but ninjas would win hands down

I have too dissagree with you guys. I think the knight would probably win. Because I don't see the ninjas blowgun, or stars getting through that armor of his. So that would mean the ninja would have too get up close and personal. And it is suicide too get up close and personal with a knight

A ninja, they're not shy of using poison or in one case waiting underneath a latrine for their victim to arrive and do his business, before striking.

Edit: A ninja would win, since he's not chained by a code of honour or chivalry.

ninja easily....knight armor was built to deflect large blades.....it is easily piecred with knives or narrow swords.....not to mention the complete lack of mobility for a knight...Omni-Slash

The knight doesn't need to be that mobile assuming we're talking about real ninjas and not the video game variety. The knight's not going to be facing someone running along walls, casting lightning spells and throwing 50 stars at once. :PPirate700

Seeing how ninjas are assassins and do not fight on the battleground, this comparison is pointless and should stop. A better comparison would be Samurai vs Knight, because you know, they actually both fight on the battleground. What is it with people and their silly comparisons.

Each have his own fighting style. Ninja's are assassins, they kill in surprise. Knights fight face on. Knights give up mobility for their protection and ninja give up their protection for mobility. A knights armour also has weak spots, not to mention his visibility is limited.

No... A Ninja cannot kill a knight in full body armor. And as I said before Knights are much faster then you think. And Ninjas are not as fast. Ninjas lost out to Spartans on the deadliest warrior because of the spartans shield, he couldn't kill him. Do you think he could kill someone with FULL BODY ARMOR:o?

Up front battle: Knight. His heavy weapons and armor would allow him to plow through the ninja.

War: Ninja. Would likely try to poison the knight, or kill him in his sleep.

In the case of element of surprise, the ninja wins hands down. In a straight up fight I would say the ninja as well just because a knight wearing that suit of armor takes a lot of endurance so I'm sure that a ninja would outmaneuver and outlast him as long as he doesn't get hit.

In direct one on one combat the Knight for the very obvious reason that one on one combat is what his specialty is and what his arms and armour are designed for.

The ninja is not designed for one on one combat.... at all. They are designed for stealth, assassination, spying and occassionally armed combat against unarmed or lightly armed opponents.

The ninja could run around in circles and throw stars and what not till he is blue in the face. Meanwhile the Knight could just stand there having a smoke thinking...I'll have to get my boy to clean those scuff marks off my armour when I get back.

Eventually the ninja has to face the Knight in direct one on one combat at which point he gets murdered easily by the Knight. I don't give a darn how fast the ninja is sincehe has no weapons capable of injuring the Knight. Eventually he will get within the 6ft attack radius of the Knight and get hit at which time it is over.

It is like a guy on a motorcycle armed with a butterknife vs a guy in a tank. Sure the motorcycle can run rings around him, till it runs out of gas. Then what?

Standard knights use a sword that is very slow because it was made more for hacking than for cutting. They are slow, but their defense is high, Ninjas are quick and more versatile, however a single blow from the knight would end the show. I would bet on the ninja. curono
