Hey,
You guys know how to use chopsticks? :O

Yes but it's much less inconvenient to just use a fork, so I often just go with that.UCF_KnightI agree with this sentiment, I can use them if I must but prefer not to.

I just can't get used to biting certain foods... especially when it's something like pork that really chewy. I either shove it in whole or spend 10 minutes trying to nibble it down.

Damn, that requires precision. =PI can use them to grab sizable objects and lift them to my mouth. I have no fine motor skills with them, though; I'd be hopeless if I tried using them to eat something like rice.

I recall actually doing that at a Chinese restaurant once, though itmade my meal a lot less enjoyable.
Oh yeah, I don't use them a lot but generally speaking they're pretty easy to use and actually I'm usually surprised to hear that anybody these days has much trouble with them.
Yeh, I've seen some of my friends struggle to use them. But I reckon the fork is much easier.Oh yeah, I'm don't use them a lot but generally speaking they're pretty easy to use and actually I'm usually surprised to hear that anybody these days has much trouble with them.

For a lot of meals I find Chopsticks to be the best option. Of course, my wife loves to cook vietnamese/thai/japanese/chinese so it comes naturally with the food we like to eat.
That being said, I don't have the right grip/hold, according to her. I tried her way (according to japanese and vietnamese people whe met) but I was so inefficient I gave up. I still have that wrong grip, but it works.
I never use any kind of eating utensil or my fingers, I just slam my head into the meal and go to town
You have the most epic way of eating ever. I gotta try it sometime ;)I never use any kind of eating utensil or my fingers, I just slam my head into the meal and go to town

No, and I always hate having to ask for separate silverware when going out for sushi or something. It makes me feel like a child :P
Nope, I think they're stupid. Knife and fort FTW!PernicioEnigmaWhy do you think chopsticks are stupid? Do you not like the way they look or the way you use them?
Yes. It's quite fun using chopsticks to lift a round boiled egg or a peanut. I hold the chopsticks in V shape. Some people do it in X shape. I find V shape is easier to lift food and to cut something soft.
If you're eating rice with it, don't forget to lift the rice bowl to chest height. Some people forgot this because they focused too much on how to hold chopsticks.
