Wasn't the shotgun placed next to him? I mean, if it was, how would he be able to blow away his own face and then place it beside him?

All they did in their career was draw attention from the mainstream audiences and that's what they achieved, being a very well known band with alleged "punk" ideologies and being known mostly for all the stupid things they did rather than for the music they made.

Please say this was a joke? I'm not a fanboy... At all. But, he was a musical genius, one of the greatest songwriters of all time, he had a certain uniqueness that I haven't seen since about '96. As did many grunge artists.

But, to be fair, I looked up some Sevendust lyrics! And I guess the lines:

"Don't you feel like a bi***.

Don't promise s*** you'll never be"

Is better than anything off of In Utero, which title alone, is probably more unique and poetic than anything any artist from this era has written.

No, he just wanted a rhythm guitarist (who didn't even join the band until their final tour). And Kurt was a great musician, he had a very versatile singing voice (though it was kinda hard to understand what he was saying at times) and just because he didn't play very fast doesn't mean he wasn't a good guitar player, you can't be a good song writter if you don't have at least some skill with your instrument. Besides you can't deny that Smells Like Teen Spirit's intro is one of the most recognizable riffs in all of rock.

Well yeah, but why would he bother getting loaded if he was just immediately going to shoot himself? I think the fact that he had been lying in his house dead for a couple of days before anything got reported alone suggests atleast a little foul play.
