What was the last book, magazine, movie, game, and music that you read/watched/played/listened to?

  1. Starfish - Peter Watts. Downloaded for free on my ebook reader. Read about 50 pages so far. Not bad.
  2. Chess Magazine. I like to buy this sometimes. Don't understand half of it though!
  3. The Triangle. TV mini series about the Bermuda Triangle. Cheesy but entertaining.
  4. Game - Sid Meier's Pirates. Great remake of a great game.
  5. Music - A Touch of Evil. The 'atmosphere music' cd from the board game 'A Touch of Evil'. Probably going to play this tonight.

Wow that's alot to remember. I guess this would be my list: -Band of Brothers, fantastic book. Recommended to anyone who like the miniseries. About to start reading I know why the Caged Bird Sings. -Not a clue -The Proposal and Funny People. Proposal was surprisingly decent, Funny People was terrible. -Battlefield: Bad Company. Going back to collect all the gold bars. -Born to Run album by Bruce Springsteen, great stuff.

Book: David McCullough's John Adams.

-Have to read it for school. Not done. Meh.

Magazine: Entertainment Weekly.

-They come to my house for some reason and I love them. :P

Movie: Cowboy Bebop.

-One of the best animes out there. And the movie is just awesome.

Game: Mirror's Edge.

-Completely in love with it (as shown by the new sig/avy). The game oozes this amazing urban style.

Music: Nine Inch Nail's Year Zero.

-I listened to it a little earlier for two reasons. One, it's a fantastic album. Two, the disc changes color when you play it. :P

Book: All Quiet On the Western Front. I was given this as a school ****ignment, which is why I haven't read another book since. Read ~20 pages and hated each one because it was so boring. Magazine: Musician's Friend Electric Guitar Edition. This is something my dad got me. I flipped through it for about a minute and canceled the subscription. Movie: The Hurt Locker. I wanted to go see a movie in a theater, and I heard good things about this one. I found it to be slow, repetitive, and artificially tense. Game: Jak and Daxter. This is one of the first console games I ever had. I had stupidly sold it after completing the campaign, but now I've reacquired it and everything is as great as I remember. Except Keira's voice. I don't understand how I was ever able to tolerate that. Music: The BlazBlue soundtrack. I have to get it off YouTube on account of AkSys still being *** holes by not releasing the soundtrack alone. In hindsight, I should have ordered BlazBlue prior to release and then just sold the game itself. I guess for now I'll just keep my thrash opera AND my money.

-The Taoh of Pooh: An interesting take on the fundamental concepts of Taoism. -Game Informer, July 2009 issue: Another great GI issue. Max Payne 3 sounds and looks pretty exciting and fun, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it fares. -Public Enemies: Saw it with my sister when I was in the U.S. a few weeks ago. I thought it was pretty good. -Assassin's Creed: I'm playing it right now, whilst multitasking. -Fly By Night: That's the last album I listened to. It's by Rush, one of my most favorite bands.

I know exactly how you feel, Rashomon was an amazing film in its own merits but watching his later classics before kinda had me disappointing with it.

1. The Life of Pi- a solid book, just read about 60 pages tonight, so far read about 260 pages.

2. Time Magazine.

3. I think it was Terminator 2: Judgment Day, which I saw last week.

4. Super Punch-Out!! Beat the special circuit without losing once, so I got the special ending. I was disappointed that Rick Bruiser wasn't as brutally tough as Mr. Dream. It took me months to beat Dream, whereas it took me less than 10 tries to beat Nick. Solid game. 8/10 I also replayed a bit of Half Life, though my PC freezed after 10 mintes.

5. I just listened to The Dream Police by Cheap Trick and Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne.
