[QUOTE="harry_james_pot"][QUOTE="D-RS"][QUOTE="harry_james_pot"] Exactly. Otherwise i`ll spend the 2 hours getting mad and cursing the filmmakers, like i did in Order of the Phoenix. :x I don't think it would matter where they changed it , also the VOldy harry fight is very different than the book , and better because the one is the book was just so fast:P Also they changed the fate of the Malfoys , i didn't read what was changed i didn't have the heart to. I understand why they have to change the Harry/Voldy fight, because they can`t have a 7 movies franchise ending with a 30 minutes lecture. But having them jump off a cliff is way too much.. :| The cliff thing , they just teleport (Apperate whatever they call it ) and it is a bit cool , not something i expect from an HP movie though , also in the movies can teleport , in the book he didn't know back then , also i was happy with them adding a chamber of secrets scene , it was a bit rushed in the book.
[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"][QUOTE="harry_james_pot"] I know. I actually read the test-screening reviews, i couldn`t resist. :lol:harry_james_pot
Now you won't be surprised.:P Exactly. Otherwise i`ll spend the 2 hours getting mad and cursing the filmmakers, like i did in Order of the Phoenix. :x
Honestly, the changes they made in Order of the Phoenix were smart and neccesary.
The bok has alot of "fat" that the movie audience wouldn't be interested in. They were very wise to focus the story on Umbridge and cut stuff that didn't really furhter the main plot line of the book. The movie would have moved way too slowly without the cuts they made.
[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"] :lol: I don't like the change TBH. It changes everything. But then again...the movies are almost an entirely different story.harry_james_pot
They can mess up the movies as they want, but we`ll still have the books.
The movies have plenty of glaring flaws, but I don't think they "mess up" the movies by cutting stuff and changing stuff. They don't just cut stuff for no reason. They do it because some parts of the book don't work on screen and some parts are unnecesary and would just slow down the pace of the movie.
