last night
Lol .. ? Dayuuum ! I hate to ask how many you had of July 4rth man. Well unless you don't live in the US
Right now actually, I'm sipping on a shot of Very Old Barton 100 proof, Bottled in Bond. It's something I found recently, but had heard of many moons ago. My favorite sipping bourbon that I keep on hand is also Very Old Barton, but it's an 86 proof. The 86 proof is not exacty remarkable, but it's very well balanced and tastes of cinnamon, clove, and wood and you get a lot of it for about $22. The 100 proof is smoother and tastes of vanilla and toffee with just a bit of wood. Both are very good in my opinion.
It's sunday, so I am drinking a bit lol. I don't drink nearly as much as I used to. There was a time there for a few years after college where I could have technically been considered an alcoholic (technically...), so I think I got it out of my system. Now I just don't really feel the need to as much, and it really does not do me any favors because no one likes the drunk fat guy.
As for what I am drinking:
Sipping on a Lagunitas Aunt Sally to finish off the night, a nice mild sour ale. Not too tart, actually; if you're looking to broaden your horizons and want a refreshing summer beer to drink, you might want to give it a try, it's not bad.
Before that I had a couple Russian River Blind Pigs, arguably one of my favorite beers, and definitely imo much better than their Pliny beers.
Crown Royal, neat... just now. I don't even know why I'm looking at forums right now. About eleven FL OZ's in. Funny enough I come across this thread. I love a good scotch but my favorite is a great Canadian whiskey. Twelve... oh jeez I think it's bedtime.
Over seven years ago. Tried it a little shortly after turning 21 and decided very quickly that it wasn't a taste worth acquiring.
4th of july
drank A LOT of whiskey, got really drunk - not blackout - but pretty gone, passed out on the couch watching con air and playing arkham asylum with one of my friends
i don't drink that often, i don't like getting yucky that much, prefer dank herbs
