Laugh tracks are stupid

what is the point of a laugh track? To tell you when to laugh or to confirm a joke is funny? imagine if shows like south park or futurama had a laugh track, it would suck. Laugh tracks are so stupid, I see no point in them at all.Film-Guy

Pretty much, because most of the jokes are so lame people need a signal to let them know that the punchline has been hit.

I agree, laugh tracks suck. I'm trying to watch Seinfeld or w/e because everyone else does but I can't stand the laugh track.
