I want to learn how to sing, but I need somewhere to start. I cannot pay for lessons at the moment so I want to self teach myself. Is there some sort of sheet of music similar to tablature for singing? I don't expect myself to be pro or anything, but I just want to become at least decent.

use your ear to figure out songs, and invest in a keyboard so that you can match pitch with it, if you can't afford lessons then search youtube, there's a few videos that have helped me, especially in developing my vibrato.

Go on youtube and search "Vocal Lessons". There are lots of professional singers that can teach you.Try to find videos with scales in them so you can practice everyday to increase your range,

Then again I also took free lessons.
