Hey all!

So i've decided i'd like to pick up my guitar again and have another attempt at learning to play. I have a pretty good acoustic guitar so this is what i would be using. I'd like to teach myself and i was wondering which route would be the best to go down, learning to play songs using tabs? Or using a website which can teach me proper chords and simple songs and sorta build from there?

Also if tabs is the best option, could you suggest some good beginner songs to learn?

Thanks a heck of a lot for any help!

I'm interested in trying to learn again. I had a guitar about a year or so ago. But I was terrible, I lack music skills. But I want to try again, but I no longer have my guitar. :(

No reason you can't do a little of both and i suggest a teacher, they'll save you a lot of time.

Do both. I suggest doing it like this; one day work on a song you want to learn by using a tab, then the next spend your practice time learning scales and very basic theory. Should cover all your bases for quite a while. :)

Do both really and mess around with it a bit to get new sounds. I've learned a lot songs by either ear, visually, or tabs.
