It depends really, my ideas and beliefs may change from time to time. But normally I'm more conservative than anything else.
I'd pretty much say I'm at the centre. But one thing is for sure, I can't stomach psuedo-intellectual liberalism.
EDIT: And I'm also annoyed when it is naturally assumed that if you are liberal then you are intelligent.
I'm right wing conservative. I feel the country needs to be set in the standards and morality it was founded upon. I do not think it right to force my morality on others who are not of my faith however (that doesn't mean I won't state my opinion and if you claim my faith I sure as heck will correct you though). I think there are more important things than forcing my morality on others like spreading the good news about Jesus Christ (sorry for spiritualizing the topic).mindstorm
I love you, you know?

*hug*I took that test and was surprised at the results... I consider myself right wing as the issues that are most important to me are rightwing. Many other things I'm almost apathetic.
You guys should take this test. This will tell you what the heck you are: http://www.politicalcompass.org/testSimpJee
here's mine
basically i believe that you and corporations should be able to do what you want as long as you're not decieving anyone or effecting other peopl's freedom. Also the state should only provide the most basic of needs, water, sanitation, roads and the most basic communication as well as education.

I'm .....a hippie???
That's crazy, and pretty awesome. Did it tell you anything else? Like what this possibly means? :P
Only problem with this test, doesn't tell you specifically what you are.

But I am pretty surprised of the result.

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.44
Lean left. I believe we are only as strong as our weakest links in society, so the better off they are, the better off we are.btaylor2404
That's odd. You find we're better off giving our money to others that use it to buy liquor and aren't willing to work because they're lazy and they get free money from taxpayers?

I'm interpreting weakest link to be the lower class, the poor...[QUOTE="btaylor2404"]Lean left. I believe we are only as strong as our weakest links in society, so the better off they are, the better off we are.LikeHaterade

Of course that happens, just like there are bad cops and teachers. But I do not think it's the majority, and I'd like to see the welfare system set up so people work at learning a trade. But my core belief is we cannot ignore the less fortunate in society. An example: I have my kids under controll, my wife and I are here, doing our jobs to raise them, but I can't say the same for kid X, so everything possible needs to be done to make his life better so he doesn't come to school with a gun at 8 years old. Dramatic, yes, but it happens.
Oh, well I was reffering to Welfare.LikeHaterade
eer I'm pretty sure not all people who are on welfare are like that though, there are people on welfare who truly are in rut.

You would rather buy alcohol than help other people?

Alcohol helps people? WIth all due respect to those that actually try at life, there are many, MANY others that don't when they have the ability to do so. However, they don't because they recieve free money. There are programs that people can go into and find jobs but they dont because they recieve free money. People that are on Welfare that do work should have living conditions based on their anual salary until they continue to progress.

I think welfare should exist but not in the way it does. Too many people are on it. Give it to fewer people who are actually qualified for it. I think it would be a wiser investment for us to help these people find employment instead of just giving them money.
Also, if you drop out of High School you should be disqualified from recieving welfare.

Welfare actually do that, they also help high school dropouts get their GED or high school diploma, you people should get a little more educated before commenting, no offence of course.
edit: they also take out your benefits if you don't use the programs, or exploit it.

Yea, and welfare also helps high school dropouts afford cigarettes and alcohol, when dropouts can apply for grants that are given to people who don't achieve a certain income.
