legalizing Marijuana? Read please!

Should they legalize marijuana?

Green Harvest- Exactly what has green harvest done, billions of dollers have gone into green harvest(which is money that could have gone into other things like education, seniors, etc) only to make marijuana more scarce and cost a whle lot more, making people turn over to other drugs because it could be cheaper or easier to get a hold of.

Taxes- Do you guys have any idea how much money the goverment would make from taxes on just marijuana, it's in the billions of dollers a year, again i mention education, senior citizen, social security funds.

Imo alot of people try other drugs because marijuana is getting harder to get and some people want to get high anyway, right. So they try other drugs and then what, get addicted.  Just from personel experience i've never seen anyone addicted to marijuana, but if they legalize i think there will be a lot less of other drug use.

America also has the worlds highest prison population accounting for around 25% of the worlds prison population, we have more prisoners than China. Around 30% of state prisons population are drug offenders, they account for around than 60% of fedral prisoners. Alot of these people are just users, thanks to mandatory minimums, they are stuck in prisons for years. All this because they decide to put a certain substance into thier body. I have no interest in hearing about other drugs, don't care about them, this topic is on weed

Aside from the fact that I, a Dutchman, never saw ANY weed addict in my life, NOR a crime commited under influence of marijuana, study has indeed shown that weed is not physically addicting. And while it may become a habit to smoke it, it's also very easy to quit if you really want to. I NEVER EVER saw ANYONE get into trouble because they were stoned from weed.

That's the thing, other drugs are involved.  I've never seen anyone addicted to pot, unless they do other drugs like ice or cocaine then when they can't get those drugs they have to smoke a s*** load of weed to get high.  I live in hawaii where there is one of the worst drug problems in the U.S.  You said it yourself, you were doing other drugs.
