If so, enable the Nvidia Desktop manager. Be sure to enable all the features, then go to the desktops tab. click properties on the default. Check the allow different backgrounds per display box and voila!

For the transparent menu, google vistart. I only put it on for this picture. I don't normally run it, because it's a program.
