prior to readying this I couldn't have told you what level I was at...for a while I kept getting moderated by some asshat every time I got to a new level and it would kick me back down...now?...I guess I'm past that....or they are..:?
I don't care for levels here as much as I did when I was a user at Gametrailers. As far as I know, levels don't have an affect on a user's ability here at Gamespot, whereas at Gametrailers they influence the magnitude of a user's thumb rating (the magnitude is equal to half of the user's level). Though GT's system is a bit unfair, at least it demonstrates incorporation of levels into a user's experience at their site, unlike here at Gamespot (IIRC).
