Perhaps you are looking at it from the wrong angle.
Maybe athiests live their lives to the fullest as they beleive once they day there is no more...rather than dreading the day the die they live every day as if it's the last.
perhaps.
[QUOTE="chicknfeet"]so what happens if you die and find out that christianity isn't the right religion? wouldn't that put you in the same boat as the supposed atheists that fear death?seals44
Oh snap not a Christian ehh? You're more of a hard core agnostic >____>
The creator of us has many names in many different religions. As long as you believe in a creator of everything who loves us than you will be saved
[QUOTE="seals44"]You guys think there is nothing after death. You must constantly be dreading dying, worrying about it and how you will never remember anything after it etc. ***** to be you I guessSchwah
Seals44, you're a terrible disappointment. I'm quite serious. :(
I don't mean to be rude, but athiest are always the ones to make negative coments toward Christians, while we try to be nice. Do you see the difference. Again, please no offence taken, but we are usually the nicer people (not always, and again, i'm really hoping this doesnt offend you)

Umm, christians just killed anyone who was a heretic for how long??
[QUOTE="bradleybhoy"]I think very few people are true atheists.seals44
True... I think really deep down they have some kind of faith, but just don't want to admit it because they are worried about the possibility of Hell
Not really. I don't believe that Hell exists, so I don't have to live my life trying to please some "god" so that I can meander around on clouds all day.Fearing death is natural, but I wouldntcall it a faith to fear death. Its pretty impossible to "not sin" these days, so wouldn't everyone go to hell anyway?
You can live your life more peacefully and enjoy what you do more. Although being an Atheist sort of makes you arrogant.
Why would somebody rather live life knowing that they have to worry about following some supreme being with fear of being sent to hell for all of eternity...
rather than living life how you want to...and then have no fear of death because all that happens is you sleep for a long time...you wouldnt even be able to be upset because youd be dead :|
I dont get that arguement...at all...If i had the option of there being a heaven and hell...or just eternal sleeping...id go with the sleeping....life would be a lot less stressful...

Not in any way. They believe in the POSSIBILITY of a creator. I know there is one and love him dearly. God and Ahlla are the same. Just a different story surronding him. Therefore, I am Christian

Yes, and also the maggots that start populating inside you, eventually growing in such huge numbers that they make your body burst open.
The more you know. :)

and if you dont believe in God but still believe that making good choices and living a good life? does that mean you are still in the same boat? that sounds kind of harsh to me[QUOTE="_Marisa_"][QUOTE="THE_DRUGGIE"]In your opinion. If you have faith, even the slightest, and live a virtuos life than Heaven it will be.

I don't think that atheists think about death, but rather think about life. Ones who think about death are "emo".

Did you also know that tree roots can pierce your coffin, your body, and feed off of the moisture in your body? Essentially, if an apple tree does that to you, people who eat the apples are actually eating you.
discomforted that we are all going to the same place and i dont have to bend over backwards for someone that doesnt exist? oh, yeah, terrifying.

What you qouted from me said "not always". Not all Christians are good. I will glady admit that.

That's not true, you have to accept Jesus as your lord and savior and be sorry for your sins....all of them.
If you have faith, even the slightest, and live a virtuos life than Heaven it will be.

Is this a joke? Christians worry about death more than atheists.
