[QUOTE="GHlegend77"][QUOTE="Overlord93"] I thought everyone used 24hr at least partialy, I guess I was wrong. Maybe its the US, but my PC, and alarms are all set in 24. I thought all websites were, I guess its user specific then...Overlord93
If you're referring to some people not using military time, some people have been taught to use it, and some haven't. I have, obviously :P But a large portion of the US just uses the 12 hour "system", I suppose. Such as what would be 15 to you guys would be like 3 PM to us, or what would be 7 to you guys would be 7 AM to us. Hope this helped :P

yeah, I use 12 hour too, I just presumed that everbody used both, well...I learnt something new today :P

Same... wth... im shocked people in the U.S don't use the 24 hour clock. i thought it was world standard.

Lame. I expected something interesting, but it says the ambulance treated his injuries at 13:13, not that he was struck at 13:13. What a let down.

Well, it shouldn't be too much of a shocker to anyone. This is normal OT behaviour. Let's hope this thread doesn't become a ****-storm though.

Well OT sure has ELECTRIFYING behaviour. Although I'm still SHOCKED every time someone makes puns.

Why are you so bipolar-acting all the time here? You should try to keep your mood static. :|

Because every once in a while I give off a discharge of electrical energy that builds up within a storm. The charges develop because a storm causes air to move around which rubs against itself to generate electrical charges. Eventually the charge increases to a point where the electricity can flow through the air. Once an electric discharge starts it provides a better path for more electrical flow than normal air due to ionization which results in a sudden, large and fast discharge (i.e. a lightning bolt). Negative charges at the bottom of the clouds repel the negative charges on the surface of the earth. This leaves the surface of the earth positive (the electrons on the ground migrate to get further away from the other electrons in the cloud). From there, the negative electrons from the cloud attract the positive electrons on the ground, which pulls electrons from the air. This usually occurs at a high point on the ground.

Am I doing it right?
