Linkin Park is terrible, why do people like the so much?

Honestly, I was in highschool and all the little wannbe angsty, wannabe "Bad" teenagers thought that Linkin park was the best band ever. I had some Grateful Dead on my iPod and let one of theme hold and he said "What is this? You don't have any Linkin Park" I was like WHAT!

I hate Linkin Park, they might as well win MTV's award for most overated-promoted band ever. They freaking suck, and all of they're songs sound exactly the same.

And the fans are terrible, if anyone hates Linkin Park they are all over them. Also they think if you hate Linkin Park, you must love bands like Jonas Brothers or something... Yeah, like Linkin Park is the most hardcore band in the world.

That is a true statement. If you hate Linkin Park, then you automatically love the Jonas Brothers. You can't argue with facts.

You already made up your mind that you don't like them even though you have little knowledge on their musical library. No point in trying to open an already closed mind.

You're putting words in my mouth, mate. I don't like the band but I was just pointing out that you never wanted an answer to the question in the thread title. You've already proven how small your knowledge on the band is by saying all their songs sound the same.

That's nice, but dude is very-limited from a skill standpoint. Is flow is very static, his lyrics are simple, his rhyme schemes are elementary, and his lyrics have the imagery and word play of high school poetry. Only thing going for him is his subject matter and that he raps over non-standard beats. fat_rob

In my opinion Linkin Park is just as good as AC/DC if not better. My favorite song is "Given Up" by Linkin Park.
