Well being a fan from the band since their first album, Hybrid theory. I bought the album yesterday, and I must admit, at first I was disapointed. But after a couple other hours of listening to it, I realized this is one of the best albums I have ever heard. It's now more soft then before, less "heavy", but IMHO, is this an evolution a band like this must make.

Anywayz, I've seen some comments on other sites, and the majority of them were Fans whining like this album was "a piece of ****". I want to know the opinions of other LP fans here.

Thx for your time

I have heard several people on here complain about the new "sound", but IGN's review has a good light on it.  I'm hoping I enjoy it.

Its really not one of the best albums ever. There are really actually no songs that are actually catchy other than "What Ive Done" and maybe "In Between" or "In Pieces".

Ok...if you think that any LP album is up there with Radiohead, Placebo, The Clash etc, you just have very different music taste.  As in bad.

I think that they did a good job and projected the new sound very well. It sounds very good. I've only heard the new single, so I don't know if Chester screams anymore, but i hope he still does. :)

Or it's the fact that I don't got the same taste as you...

Or that I listened too much in the others and I'm in search of something new, wich is a fact.

I'm going to be honest. i haven't liked them since middle school and this certainly hasn't changed my opinion of them.

He has a right to his opinions. Obviously there's tons of people out there who would favour his tastes over yours.Â
