But they dont allow them there unless their clear, which I cant put in until after 2-3 months when it fully heals. And girls love them. haha I'll be getting mine within a month.

A few of my friends have pierced lips and theirs never got infected. If you want to, then why not? Instead of just getting the left side pierced, you should think about getting one on each side so it'll look like snake teeth, that would be sweet.
If you want my opinion, any rings besides earrings are really stupid, and I don't know why anyone would ever want one. And they don't look good at all. They just look really weird. And they make you unattractive.

The only pictures of me are too old, like I have short hair and lame clothes etc. that wouldn't fit a piercing in the photos, but now it would totally fit. I just don't know if my lips are really wide enough to make a good spot for a lip piercing.
And studs are a no-no for my mouth. The labaret rubs against your gums, causing them to recede.
