Since you seem Pumpkins fan, I'd like to have your opinion on the new lineup. Don't you find it cheap from Billy to still call it Smashing Pumpkins? I have a hard time with accepting it. I mean if D'Arcy, James or even Melissa isn't there, why keep the Pumpkins name? What's the difference between The "new Smashing Pumpkins" and Zwann where Billy and Jimmy were members?

The sound, maybe, but still in my humble opinion, the Pumpkins have been dead for a long time now.

I agree, and I once made a thread asking this exact same question.

But whatever. A piece of poop by any other name would still taste awful. As long as they can still rock, they can call themselves whatever they want to.

For the record, I liked Zwan a lot. Andf for me, I considered Zwan to be Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin, and a few other people who I don't really care too much about. The were the best part of the old Smashing Pumpkins, they were the best part of Zwan, and they were the best part of the new Smashing Pumpkins. As long as they're togetehr and they continue to rock, they can call themselves Swiss Cheese for all I care.
