yep.
I only have 1 friend outside of work I ever see.
people think because you are alone you are miserable but I disagree since you become self sufficient.
I can mix at social eventsbut I find it tiresome because I have to be outgoing and talkative and that isn't me.

Yup, when I go to parties I usually end up just standing there and listening. I tried to be interested, but frankly it just isnt somethng I am into. Add to the fact that, idunno, I am kind of scary looking (my neutral face is a 1000 yard stare, im 6'3'', and look pissed/sad when just chillin even though im not) and it just makes for an awkward situation.
Plus im fat, that makes me extremely self concious lol.
Anyway, I can tolerate parties but I feel much better grabbing a few pints at my quiet little pub downtown with some close friends.
I'm a introvert. But, I don't feel alone, I have quite a few friends and relationships for me to have a stable social life. What's weird is I only realized I enjoyed solitude in college when the large parties and huge social gatherings I went to didn't interest me as I expected.

Ya I agree with both.
When I got to school, went to my first rager, it was fun but I just enjoyed being drunk. It was fun seeing people act drunk too, but in terms of socializing it just wasnt interesting.
