When our kids were younger we rented a great big motorhome and drove from Minnesota out to California, stayed in an RV park out there for a week and then drove back via Texas. That was actually a lot of fun. Of course, the passage of time makes me forget about how unbearable the kids were at certain times  Ah well, my wife and I had a great time.

Edmonton, Alberta to Ottawa, Ontario. Nice drive, and Ontario is surprisingly beautiful from a scenery point of view.

From Covina, CA (near LA) to Sacramento, CA.

From Kissimmee, FL to Key West, FL.

[QUOTE="sammyjenkis898"][QUOTE="JigglyWiggly_"] how can you relax couped up in a car?JigglyWiggly_

How can you relax sitting on an uncomfortable seat next to some fatass that is munching down on the poorest quality of peanuts?

buisness class

There are still obese obnoxious people in first class.

Two hours next to a fatty while taking a nap sure beats 20 hours in the car while having to stay awake the whole time if you're the driver.

Not to mention the possibility of sitting next to a girl who is model material instead.

I've been to Vegas for the first time. It was definitely a 5 hour or 6 hour drive from L.A. to Vegas. But it took 4 hours to come back. I really enjoy a lot when it comes to road trips. I'm with my family that time and it's the very best to do this summer. A very good experience. However, even in case you are just a little low on cash, many people will find a way to budget out a trip. The only issue is that there are often expenses you are not expecting. For example, you might need a payday loan to cover more gasoline after a road block causes you to go on a massive detour. I hope this helps. :)

I've made the trip from Southeast Texas to NY twice on family vacation. It's around 1800 miles and takes about 28 to 30 hours. The last time I didn't have to drive though because my arm was broke.

About a 12 hour-trip from Tennessee to FLBranKetra

This plus five hours.

Takes me about five hours to drive to Tennessee from Cincinnati, Ohio.  Drove to Florida from Cincinnati once.

I suppose from San Diego to Wyoming and then back again by way of Oregon and down through the California state to home. My most regular trip was driving back and forth from San Francisco and Los Angeles due to having lots of friends in both places at the time.

I drove with my father most of the way across Canada to attend university.  We did it in two and a half days.  I actually quite enjoyed the experience.
