Now that im done with first season of The Walking Dead i need a new TV Show.

Im currently watching Dexter, South Park, Supernatural.

Iv googled a bit and noticed The Wire gets most praise. Is it that good, or just another TV show with cops, drug dealers and all that?

Arrested Development (3 seasons) and Party Down (2 seasons) are two shows you could knock out easily.

I think ill watch Arrested Development pilot episode but i dont think its my type of TV show. And 3/10? what you mean?

Watch Breaking Bad. It's one of my favorites, my favorite being Dexter. If you're looking for comedy I would recommend Parks and Recreation or Modern Family.

A murder and the subsequent investigation. It really isn't a standard police procedural though: it's very, very weird and extremely entertaining.

It's definitely not just "another show with cops". Calling The Wire a cop show is selling it short a little bit because it's so much more than that.

I have to agree with sammy though - based on what you like, I'd be shocked if you didn't like Breaking Bad.

I second the suggestion for Justified. I also like Burn Notice and have been watching re-runs. Can you be more specific as to what you are lokoing for? Certain genre, currently playing, etc.?

Breaking Bad should appeal to anyone that's looking for quality television. It rises above from just another television show - excellent character development, intense and unpredictable scenes, and a cinematographer that knows what he's doing. It also boasts two great performances. It may sound like I'm overselling it, but it's really that good.

I like pretty much everything. Genre doesnt really mind. But please recomend me recent show, from the last 4-5 years or so. I know Twin Peaks is older than that but i always wanted to give it a try. Tv shows i dislike are Mad Men, Sopranos, Grey Anatomy, CSI, NCSI, and a few others. I like: Lost Prison Break 30 Rock Twilight Zone Supernatural The Mentalist The Walking Dead Simpsons South Park ER 24 Dexter And a few others i cant remember right now.

Breaking Bad is the story of Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a struggling high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with advanced lung cancer at the beginning of the series. He turns to a life of crime, producing and selling methamphetamine with his former student and partner Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) in a desire to secure his family's financial future. Im not sure about this one.

You dislike The Sopranos :o Based on the list of shows you just provided...again I'm gonna say I'd be shocked if you don't like Breaking Bad. There's about a 0.00001% chance you won't like it.

LOST is also a good one to watch save the last season. I also hear good things about Band of Brothers. I'm about to start that show myself.

Well you could always go out and get all seasons of Star Trek TNG, Star Trek DS9 and Star Trek Voyager, that should hold you over for the next couple of months. Plus no commercials. I don't like currently airing shows. Commercials wherever I go. I just wait until they've been released on dvd.

Try True Blood! Forgot on what season it is as it only airs on summer. I think they`re doing the 4th season. Its about vampires n stuff.

My favourite shows that I have seen every episode of: 24, LOST, Dexter, Burn Notice, Leverage, White Collar, Prison Break

You might want to give Misfits a try. It's a good mixture of comedy and drama about kids in their young 20's getting superpowers. It's kind of like Heroes, except it doesn't totally suck after season 1. (don't get me wrong, I liked Heroes and watched every season, but it started off strong and went downhill fast) The one thing that bothered me about Misfits was the plothole involving a character from the future that didn't make too much sense, but besides that I think it's a great show, and it's getting a third season soon.
