losing weight while eating fatty foods reminds me of those people who order everything on the menu and a diet coke -_-

ButaDujo

I used to think that way too but calories are calories, after all. You can get a meal deal with 2500 calories (with regular coke)...or you can get a meal deal with 2000 calories. It does make a difference.

You would just have to limit how much of those fatty foods that you eat.

It's better that you avoid those foods all-together, as eating them won't give you enough energy for your workout. If you eat those fatty foods often, you'll get tired quicker, make your workout shorter, and go back to eating those foods and not spending enough time to burn the calories.

Just try and snack on a few healthy things a day.

even if you lose weight eating just junk food you won't be healthy if you are not getting enough vitamins and such. Having pizza or burgers on occassion isn't a big deal but you need to balance it out with more healthy meals.

Depends on the kind of food, and what is in it.

If you like burgers and pizza, you can make them a whole lot healthier by making them yourself, a homemade burger is not really that unhealthy.

The catch is, alot of fast food, uses fat that your body can not break down into energy reserves, they go straight to your sides ;)

By making it yourself you can avoid some pretty unhealthy and unbelivebly fatty ingredients, and wrong kinds of fat, and also less salt.

Ive been losing nearly 20 lb, through the last 3 months, not by excercise, but by cooking myself (I got pretty ill, and relyied on fast foods/microwave dishesfor nearly 2 yearswhich slapped 40 lb on my otherwise fine weight...

Im too lasy to excersise tho, so I havent run or worked out while I lost those 20 lbs, simply cooking myself... Besides... it impresses the girls if you can cook ;)

Looks like I still lose weight even still, altho I do not work out, drink alot of non diet cola, and god knows what unhealthy things I do... so if you have the possibility to make the things yourself, it will kick weightloss up a notch, and making your own pizza aint half bad ;)

As long as you have a calorie deficit you'll lose weight, however..

If you're eating a crap diet your lack of nutrients will effect your energy levels and preformance so exercising will be harder. Also just with a lack of vitamins and minerals your overall health probably won't be up to speed. And finally, a calorie deficit will make you lose weight, not necessarily justfat. If you don't want to canabilize your own muscles you're going to have to keep your diet in check, at least a little bit.

You should try to eat a limit of below 2000 calories. Its easier then it sounds. But you need to eat healthy. Fruits, vegatables, meats the whole nitty gritty...

Try the Atkins diet.
