Yes, I have had lucid dreams for as long as I can remember. I only found out last year that they had a name and that most people never have them. I maybe get one every month or so on average.

Yeah I have em too. It's nice to have the ability to actually play around in your dreams.
I also found out recently that alot of people only dream in black and white ... I have always dreamt in colour. If you only dream in black and white, would that not be a dead give-away you are in a dream??!

Yeah you can. There is loads of information on the internet about it. There are techniques called MILD and WILD or something. Your hands look different in dreams so if you make an effort to check your hands all the time in the day, then when you are dreaming hopefully you will check them and realise you are dreaming. The MILD and WILD techniques are more about going into a dream from the very start as a lucid dream, being aware that it is a dream from when you very first enter it. That is more difficult, I have never done that, but I have never really tried.

I had a fully HD dream the other day ... I can't believe it was just a dream .. it had such high production values ... it seemed like a shot from an action movie ...... it was pretty cool ...
I would be really interested in being a lucid dreamer ..... since I invest a lot of time in sleeping ...

I heard that too. According to Chakote on Star Trek: Voyager all you have to do is apply some sort of circruitry to your head that sends electrical signals to you brain so that when you see whatever it is that is supposed to remind you you are in a dream you will remember it. Or something. That episode confused me.

Sex is one of the best parts about lucid dreaming, but it is hard not to wake up. For some reason sex is something that is a trigger in dreams to wake people up. It can be very frustrating.
i barely remember my dreams but whenever i do they are either really good dreams or lucid dreams. last dream i remember was lucid... i dreamt i was the last person in the world ( i think it had something to do with a topic i read lol)
I had about 4 when I was about 10. The weird thing is that they all accured with in a few months of eachother, then stopped. Havn't hadn't one for about 7 years. It's too bad too, lucid dreams and hella fun.

Thats practically impossible since getting excited causes you to wake up lol I had dreams where I had a orgasm, but I usually wake up about 3/4 into it.
Once I knew I was dreaming and this clown was chasing me so I tried to get myself to wake up by controlling my hands in the real world and prying my eyes open.

It is a popular method. Essentially anything that can make you realize you are dreaming. That is not always the hard part though, it is staying in the dream when you realize you are dreaming. When you realize you are dreaming you will get excited, you have to try and stay calm or you will wake up.
I think I had one when I was twelve. I dreamt I could run at 50 mph cuz some guy with a gat was chasing me. I then realized it was a dream. I then went to like this strip club and I remember I was about to um do it with one of the um employees and then I woke up. It sucked (except for the running part that was fun I just wish the other part lasted more)
I have tried it and I gotta say... you really have to put a lot of effort into it. There was one night, and only one night when I realized I was dreaming but I woke up right afterwards. It gets extremely frustrating and requires a lot of commitment.

Are you always aware you are dreaming? Or do you just mean you are able to control yourself, but you don't realize you're dreaming?

Yeah you are lucky then ... You probably dream more often than you think, you just dont remember them all. You probably have non-lucid dreams, but non-lucid dreams are less memorable.
