Mad Men Vs. Breaking Bad

Which show is better?

I don't have any say towards Mad Men because I haven't seen any of the seasons, but I plan on buying all of them. Breaking Bad is amazing.

The last season of breaking bad wasn't as good as past seasons. Just the way it was put together... I'd say I'd take Breaking Bad over Mad Men still.

Only seen first 2 episodes of Mad Men, meh. Breaking bad was great from episode 1 and saw first 3 season in the span of 5 days. Awesome still waiting for season 4 to hit dvd.

Breaking Bad, though there are very few that can compete with Mad Men.

I prefer Mad Men for the subject matter but Breaking Bad is awesome as well.

Breaking Bad is awesome and I am yet to start watching Mad Men.

From what I've seen from Mad Men, I might actually have to give the writing for MM the leg up on BrBa. But overall, BrBa wrecks sh*t up in every other way. Awesome cinematography and acting from everyone, even the characters we hate.

season 4 alone destroyed most of what is on TV, So breaking bad. No contest.

Haven't seen Mad Men but while drinking, whisky and Jews sound good, I doubt it'll be as amazing as Breaking Bad.MrPraline

Even though Breaking Bad has a lot of great moments, I'll have to go with Mad Men.

Vince Gilligan played it way too safe with the past 2 season of Breaking Bad. Especially the third which I thought was kind of messy and disappointing as a whole. Even though season 4 was better, it was still uneven thanks to the first couple of episodes. Season 2 is still the greatest of them all.

With Mad Men the quality just rises from one season to the next. (except 3>4 by a tad) This is mostly thanks to the great ensemble cast and the antics of Don. I'm not sure about where the whole Joan and Sterling story point is heading. It just seems to soap opera-y.

So yeah in conclusion The Wire>Mad Men>Breaking Bad.

Breaking Bad. Mad Men is an absolute Chore to watch. I find it incredibly boring. I just never found anything that happened in the show interesting.
