Good luck! Just kidding, it isn't to bad if you focus and learn it correctly the first time. Once you get it down though, it is a ton of fun to play around with.

Hope so, I've heard that it's a lot harder than Assembly and Java, but it looks a little more close to home than when I took assembly language..

Harder is subjective. I mean, I find Java to be more difficult than C++ because it has so many bits and pieces and after using it for quite a while I absolutely despise it. I prefer C# when I do full blow OOP, but C++ isn't to bad itself. Idk why, but Java just irks me the wrong way :P

I'm majoring in Library Sciences, and thinking about maybe minoring in teaching, specifically young kids.
