Please Xaos, don't bring something as obvious as this into this thread. Answer his question properly and guide him to other places on the mighty internet where he may make some money. :P

Yeah, real job sounds like the way to go. You can't really equate a full time job to an internet job.

But the internet is great for making little bits of cash. I make pocket money here and there by doing survey sites, I'm a member of a couple. Find the good ones and read reviews before you sign up to panels. I've made just under a hundred bucks from one site, I'm at 97 dollars right now and once I get to 100 I can cash out for 50. Also sign up for sites like swagbucks, you do absolutely nothing and make money doing it.

If you live in a big city sign up for mystery shopper programs, there are tons of them.

This is probably the easiest method which would actually earn you a reasonable amount. You can but spares and repairs, fix them and then resell them or find people selling items who don't know their actual value and resell them for a profit.

Sign up for House Party and join the Playstation 3 party. That can usually earn you a game a month which you can sell for 20-30. Also, join Swagbucks.

You're not going to get more money than you got from ChaCha anywhere on the internet. There are a few things you can do though. If your Youtube video becomes very popular, you can apply for some ad revenue from that, but that's not much. And if you become very popular on Youtube, you can become a Youtube partner, which is very hard. You can also set up a website and set up ads on it, but that won't bring you much in unless you have a very popular website. There really isn't much to do, or otherwise everyone would be doing it.

Yeah the retro idea is about the only way you can make money online if don't have any special technical skills. Learn values of old games, collectibles, antiques and head out to some yard sales and real estate auctions. It's next to impossible anymore to make money online....just by doing things online (regardless of what the ads on the side of your screen say :P). If you want to really make a living online, go to college for web technology and become a web programmer like I'm doing. Things start to open up once you have a piece of paper that says you're smart on it lol

-And as for Adsense revenue, my most popular website on the net right now has had 24,996 visits in the last month and a half and only 5 of those people clicked an ad, and it's only generated about 6 dollars so far....lol. So I say avoid adsense as well unless you're gamespot.com lol
