I think if you acted like a female then there would be something wrong with it. Personally I don't do that kind of a thing in RPG/MMO games. I'm always a male character. I guess it just makes the most sense to me. I think it is fine as long as you don't act like you are a female to other people.
From my experience, male characters usually either look like gigantic knots of muscle, or flat-chested women. So I mostly just play female chars, though I make sure people know I'm a guy.
I've seen them before, and have no problem with them. I only choose male characters, generally. I mean a male dark elf from Oblivion just looks badass, while the female, is well, no so great.
For MMO's I think it is kinda creepy. but why should it matter. For people trying to hook up with people through it are stupid.
I was playing on a new account in Warcraft when some servers were down and the first thing I saw someone typing was a kid Shouting "Who wants to be my girlfriend" "I need a gf, who wants to be"
Over and over, it is highly annoying.
But it seems an average of players are more likely to help out girl characters if they ask. I dont haha but I have seen it.
I love looking at girls. Real life ones, that exist. I dont need to stare at a virtual girl, it does nothing for me.
