that really sucks... for both of them...
but it is kinda funny... not the killing part... the fact that he lived with her/him and never knew
[QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"].... There is so much a person can do with surgery, and regimes of estrogen and other such drugs.. It can be just about impossible to know the difference by appearance, after this guy of 2 years was completely in the dark.If the dude (the boyfriend :P) didn't know, then who the hell cares. It's too late at that point. Killing someone over it? Yeah, no. Just break it off and get a very cold showers. Didn't he notice the adam's apple? :?

Hmm, still not worth killing someone over. A complete loss of trust, sure. But honestly, that'd be the least of my concern in that kind of situation. Eww.
[QUOTE="fiscope"]This. First Gamespot condones police brutality then assaults on students and now murder of transexuals. I beg to find out what's next. No ones condoning but both men were wrong in this situation, no one is innocent. This man has no excuse for what he has done.

Funny thing is, that's not even the worst of it. A while ago there was a thread where people were condoning incest, and another one where an alarming number of GS users seemed to think it was ok for a grown man to be in a relationship, sexual or otherwise, with underage girls :? And don't forget the "in the closet" racist who will come as close to saying "I hate minorities" as is humanly possible without getting suspended. Sometimes I can't tell the difference between this place and THE PLACE.This man has no excuse for what he has done.

Yeah honestly I wouldn't expect that reaction but the opposite.. That the guy would get tremendously depressed to the point of suicide.. They actually had a episode that was like that in Law and Order SVU.This man has no excuse for what he has done.

Finally someone with a sense of decency. I mean, Christ, you guys are actually condoning this guy killing his girlfriend? What did she actually do to him? She didn't tell him that she had at one point been a man, that's it. I'm not saying that this shouldn't matter, for some people it would be a serious obstacle; if he decided that he could not live with this, I would have not thought any less of him, but it's not as though she gave him aids or truly did him any harm.
I'm genuinely surprised at how many people advocated violence or expressed sympathy with the man's actions. This is morally reprehensible; what she did to him in no way justifies the actions he took against her. This is not a matter of a man taking vengeance against a man that had wronged him; this is a case of a man killing the woman who loved him and who he had loved.

you see... where you are wrong here is the 20th word in your post.... i do not agree.. but holy crap, i woulda been pissed... and probably just blew my own brains out cause i woulda felt all dirty likeWhat he did was so moronic and I hope he enjoys his vacation to jail.
I don't see how someone could get so mad about finding out your lover is a transexual. I mean sure you shouldn't lie about that but unless your uptight and repressed about stuff why does it matter? Just break up and leave. So he had sex with a guy. So what!?
I can understand why someone would not be attracted to their girlfriend anymore afterfinding out about her being a man but revulsion and murder is just a sign of how uptight and messed up the psyche of many people is.
But oh it makes you gay so yeah murdering her is the best way to reafirm your sexuality and get over the fact you touched a dude.

She was legally and physically a woman, and likely emotionally one as well. Transsexuals don't get these surgeries for fun; they do it because they feel that they were born the wrong gender. That she had at one point anatomically been a man does not make her any less of a woman.
That is crazy, I can understand being surprised and shocked, but there is no need to shoot someone over that.

When it comes to incest and pedophillia they will be all like "But its love" but when it comes to finding out someone is a transexual the clearly rational decision is violence.
Uggghhhh, I just don't understand the point of being a transexuals cross-dresser or the point of gender changing surgeries; to me they are just the silliest, craziest ideas ever thought up, but oh well. If someone is going to change their genders, then they better tell people that end up wanting to be in a relationship with them. It's just wrong to keep that a secret.
Now I'm not saying the guy was right to kill his "girl"friend, he should have just broke off the relationship, but I can definetely understand his anger and frusteration.
At most someone should be angry he was lied to not angry because "OMG she was a dude! ! EEWWW! That makes me gay I must kill her/him now!"Uggghhhh, I just don't understand the point of being a transexuals cross-dresser or the point of gender changing surgeries; to me they are just the silliest, craziest ideas ever thought up, but oh well. If someone is not attracted to guys fine that someone is angry they were lied to.but whats so "gross" outside of the homophobia that is so prevalent in our society?
Why is homosexuality considered "gross"? If someone is not attracted to another guy it should just be unnattractive to them not repulsive.
Well tonight im certainly going to find out if my girlfriend is a man/woman . This would be our first time doing it so :) ..........

There is nothing wrong with having the feeling that having sex with another man is gross. Ask most straight guys and they will tell you that it hard to imagine having sex with another dude. It has nothing to do with homophobia;)

Well yeah, he should be mad that "she" lied about her operation for 2 years in their relationship, not necessarily about the operation itself, but of course he still should not have shot "her", that was taking it tooo far. While I do not support the idea of changing genders, it is not really bad as long as they are honest about it and tell any person who got the operation tells any people that they want to go out with them that they got the operation. I just think it is extremely wrong to keep something like that secret.
P.S- And I have nothing against homosexuals either, and do not think they are gross, If you were thinking I was with my post...
More like killed his BF lol
She was extremely foolish and immoral to not tell him the truth, but that in no way justifies his response.MetalGear_NintyThis, I'm not saying he should have gone so far but the guy must have lost it when he found out. And for those saying they don't understand why he would after finding out, he betrayed him, you can start there.
As a transsexual myself, it's really a lose-lose situation. You can keep it a secret and have a result like this, or you can be up front about it, and the person you told it to could blabber it to some 'friends' and you'll wind up raped and dead a day/week/month later. There's simply too many people who will commit incredibly violent acts like this to really feel safe about situations like this. Some have killed transsexuals upon 'finding out' merely because they had felt an attraction to them, so it's not a very safe fence to sit on. Personally, I'd inform the person after I'd gotten to know them(and they got to now me, obviously) as that would reduce the risk of getting hurt as they'd have some sort of attachment, but nothing strong enough to hopefully elicit a sense of betrayal. All in all, I'd like to hope something like this wouldn't matter to anyone, as the surgery and whatnot is just fixing something we were born with and didn't ask for, much like removing a benign cyst or a cleft palate, or whatnot(except this is a bit of a more extreme case). Yet, some people just don't know the reality of the situation and would simply consider this woman a 'guy'. My uncle was nearsighted for most of his life, but got that lasik eye surgery done and now his vision is seemingly perfect. I don't consider him nearsighted anymore. Same deal with this. Anywho, the dude was absolutely in the wrong here. Murder = murder. Kids don't kill their parents(well, too often) if they find out they were adopted. Girl should ave been a bit smarter and eased that discussion in there, but I sincerely hope the insanity defense doesn't set in. I loathe how people can just do that, get 6 months to a year in a psych clinic(with the ability to get out early with good behaviour) and then walk free after killing someone like me in cold blood. He lived with her for two years and couldn't tell that she had once been a man? I didn't know that sex-change surgery was that effective. That's pretty impressive.
Edit: And if the surgery is that good, it doesn't seem that bad to me if she didn't tell him. What's the point of getting surgery to live as a woman if you have to tell everyone that used to be a man? Nobody would want to date you and you wouldn't be treated like a woman (which was the whole point of changing your exterior). I don't think her not telling him warrants getting killed or even hurt at all.

Gender-changing surgery(also known as Sexual Reassignment Surgery) is pretty much the final step in the 'transition' period most transsexuals go through with. Some choose not to proceed with that surgery, but most do because of a variety of reasons. Just some clarification: cross-dressers tend to hetero-sexual, and they are only into the dressing up and portrayal of the opposite sex. They have no urge to change sexes, and are perfectly happy with their current sexual organs and body. Transsexuals are very different. They're unhappy with their bodies as it does not fit their view of themselves. There's enough scientific proof to the idea that during development in the womb, the stream of hormones (specifically the primary hormone) filtering into the development of the body can very rarely cut off, causing the secondary hormone to be boosted to make up for the loss and that secondary hormone ends up developing the brain, causing a 'female' brain instead of a 'male' brain(basically, in comparisons between MtF transsexuals and genetic female brains, they're virtually identical, same for FtM and genetic male), which results in transsexuals. Well, at least that's what a good number of peer reviewed studies and tests have proven. It's a legitimate biological defect, basically. As for keeping it a secret vs telling it up front, see my prior note about it. It's dangerous either way. Many people hide secrets of themselves from their partners, under the idea that they love them who who they are, and that's all that should matter, but I suppose many people wouldn't think that way. Yet telling someone up front that they're a transsexual...that can get you raped and beaten, as a good friend of mine can attest to.Uggghhhh, I just don't understand the point of being a transexuals cross-dresser or the point of gender changing surgeries; to me they are just the silliest, craziest ideas ever thought up, but oh well. If someone is going to change their genders, then they better tell people that end up wanting to be in a relationship with them. It's just wrong to keep that a secret.

I don't know what's more vile; the man's crime or the alarming amount of people in this thread who are siding with what the man did.
I hate when that happens. Honestly, the next time someone hits on me and tells me I look delicious, I'm setting up bear-traps in my home.I killed one of my girlfriends once because I found she was actually a bear (like a real bear, that growls). If you want, I'll thread the whole story for you guys.
