Trailer looks good, probably won't reach the heights of Nolans Batman trilogy. Cinema at it's finest.
[QUOTE="Zaibach"]We got to see him fly..... :o Yeah that's more than he does in 10 seasons of Smallville.I hate teasers
they show nothing

Until I saw the teaser before TDKR, I didn't know this would be directed by Zack Snyder. That makes me pessimisticJML897
Zack Snyder is nto as bad as people make him out to be. Dawn of the Dead (so what if it's a remake, damn near every movie is nowadays) was very good in my opinion. I can't say the same thing about 300 and Watchmen though.
So...wait, this is a legit trailer? Mines of Moria music and all?
Storm_Marine
 Bridge of Kazad-dum is a GREAT piece and I can see why they chose it, but definitely all I could think of was LotR the first time I saw this.GANDALFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Storm_Marine
Really shouldn't have used the LOTR music. It works great with the teaser, but is too well known with an already fantastic franchise.

I actually agree that the Dawn of the Dead remake is alright. But even if I give him that he's 1/4. I didn't like 300/Watchmen/Sucker Punch. I didn't see that weird Owl movie he directed.
I hope it's good I just don't have high hopes.

Yeah I agree with you on that. His track record isn't the best. It's probably better to not have high hopes anyways.
Takes balls to use the LotR music, but I'm impressed with the little that was there. Does have Kevin Costner though, not a fan of him.
I don't think even God could make a non-cheesy Superman movie.

If anyone apart from God has a shot, it's Nolan and Snyder.
I didn't even notice.I know it's common to use music from previous films in trailers (since the score is typically one of the last things completed), but using such a well known piece from such an iconic franchise? Really?
worlock77
At first i thought it was Deadliest Catch: The MovieLed_poison
That is what I thought when I saw it come on before the Dark Knight Rises.

I think people would love Superman movies better if they focused more on the greatest aspect of the character
Superman is lame.ghoklebutter
Better than the stupid crap they come out with nowadays, like Ironman and Thor. Thor belongs in Norse mythology, and that's it.

That makes me pessimisticJML897Pretty much everyone that saw the extended teaser with a lot more footage at Comic-Con says it looks nothing like a Snyder film, and actually from the look of it you'd think it was Nolan's work, so that is a good sign.
Personally I'm really excited for this. Never been a big Superman fan but I heard nothing but good things from Comic Con, the cast is good, the story sounds very interesting, and was done by Goyer and Nolan, and Nolan is also producing. I think it has a lot more potential to be great.
Give the man a clean slate. Nolan had some movies before Begins, but nobody really knew him. This is Snyder's first huge movie, let's reserve judgement until we see it. Who knows, it might be great! From what I've heard and seen, it looks good.

It's one of the few recent comic book/superhero movies that actually looks good to me.
I never understood the interest in super man.
He can't die, hes got hulk strength, he can fly, etc.
There is nothing relatable about that character, which is why the Batman series was so well recieved.
I didn't even notice.[QUOTE="Allicrombie"][QUOTE="worlock77"]

Human being vs Alien that can't die.Yes, he is far more relatable than super man.
Also in movies, the character rarely relates to the audience based on how much money they have, I don't think I've ever seen a movie where they tried to relate to the audience with wealth.

That doesn't count. Who is going to take Kryptonite and what like put it in his food? Saying only one thing can kill him was the comic book writers way of making him interesting so people think that its possible he could die. He can't die, and he isn't going to.[QUOTE="PandaTrueno86"][QUOTE="CondorCalabasas"]
