I prefer Manga, but Marvel are brilliant. DC are absolutely horrendous, apart from Batman and Watchmen imo.Bioshockraptor


Firearms are legal in Australia?

On topic, Marvel and DC. I haven't read any manga's but I have seen films and animated shows absed of them and their not very good. I like DBZ and One piece (earlier seasons) but thats about it. Again I haven't actually read the comics just the cartoons. Same goes for DC/Marvel but I like the Batman films (Batman 1989, Batman returns and The Dark Knight) and other super hero films like Spider-man, Hulk etc.

Marvel/DC for me. Manga's cool, but I've always loved comic books more.

I haven't read a Marvel comic in probably fifteen years. I just really don't care about the latest exploits of Wolverine. DC on the other hand (or their Vertigo imprint, at least) have produced some of my all time favorite written works, like the Sandman, Transmetropolitan, Lucifer and Hellblazer. Most manga is quite clearly not intended for me, but I've enjoyed some of the more adult works like Monster, Blade of the Immortal, Berserk and so on, as well as Junji Ito's works. That guy has a hell of an imagination.

So I vastly prefer DC, although that could change if Marvel started putting out comics I was interested in.
