A cancer? He was your best player.

lol Sure. Why was Mike Lowell MVP then?

And people are relying too much on Ortiz. He's having an off season (as are the rest of the Sox). But wit Manny gone, the Sox are oing to need to find a new way to score their points. They can't just rely on his homers anymore.

And as a Boston native and devoted Sox fan, I'm glad to see him gone. I'm sick of his BS.

I know, I think our talent now isnt Ortiz or Manny, rather Lowell, Drew, Padroia, and Youk

Well, Ortiz is almost 33 and Manny is gone. Lowell is like 35 I think and JD Drew is in his early 30s I think.

IMO, D-Ped Youk Lowrie and Lester are the future. Hopefully Ellsbury as well, but hes been very bad this year.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Ellsbury break his wrist or something earlier in the year?

And age won't affect the Sox. The Yankees proved it and continue to prove it today. Pedroia, Pap, Youk, Lester, Lowell, Drew are the future. I don't know much about Lowrie.

All you need to know about Lowrie is that hes better than Lugo.

the redsox were better off getting rid of him and getting bay since it became obvious manny ramirez wont stay with the redsox after the season ends. but even with bay, he doesnt have the presence that ramirez had
