Second look at it, yeah they completely ruined what Wolverine was suppose to look like.. He looks like a teenager.. Why they made it japanese like, when they could have kept it closer to the source material like they did in the Batman Anime is beyond me.. I mean Batman actually looked like Batman in that anime, and it was great.. But this one looks bad. Ironman looks amazing though.. They did Ironman well. Wolverine is crap, it looks nothing like him what so ever.

Exactly, the animation in american cartoons is complete crap, they don't nearly go into enough detail to somewhat match the comic even in the most important of scenes. It's just so bland and uninspired.
Iron Man looked okay. Wolverine looked terrible. Everything about it was just bland. Not that I would be watching anime to begin with, as I find it to be much like the article described (for the most part) "all flash no substance."
I know wth was Marvel thinking oking that depiction of Wolverine, the most popular Marvel character out there.Iron Man looks fine, but Wolverine looks terrible.

I agree with SubZero
It's some random kid with Wolverine's claws. Having the claws does not at all make you the character just for the hell of it.
Iron Man looked cool... but wolverine made me want to cry........mindstormYeah I seriously hope Stan Lee just threw up when he saw it, and immediately went over to change the entire direction of the Wolverine anime.. I mean the only relation it had with marvel is some guy had metal claws come out of his hands.. It didn't even look remotely close to him, I would have no problem with alittle difference in looks.. But this looks NOTHING like him.

To add even more to the insult, his claws don't even look like Wolverines size wise.. They look like butter knives.Alright let me ask a question: If this whole Marvel/Anime deal goes through, which Marvel comic deserves the anime treatment, and what style would you like to see it in?

If any Marvel character could do an anime correctly it would be Venom/Carnage, and what do you mean what style? What genre I would like it to be fit into?

The thing is the Batman anime was well crafted.. And the characters weren't turned into extreme charactures of asian culture.. Why couldn't marvel get that studio that DC used.. I mean Batman actually looked like Batman..[QUOTE="PandaTrueno86"]

I mean what other anime in terms of style, mood, and setting could be compared to a Marvel comic?
I'm all for it, and I think they both look awesome. I really don't mind what they did to wolverine, they just took all the features that make wolverine awesome and applied them to a stylized anime character, and since I prefer anime anyway I like it. :P
Anyway, animation on both of these series looks top-notch, I love it, anime has always been way superior to american cartoons production-wise.
I agree on the Wolverine thing. He went from being a Boss Mustang (mean, loud, generally awesome) to a Scion TC with aftermarket rims (sleek-looking, small/weak, for "younger people")Second look at it, yeah they completely ruined what Wolverine was suppose to look like.. Amazing.. I despised the recent cartoons like Wolverine VS Hulk because they were so damned primitive.. While the "anime" version looks far more realistic and detailed.. Lets face it, american animation when it comes to non cgi is behind most of the times.. Drawing charactures rather than anything remotely close to being a true interpretation to realism imo.sSubZerOoThis statement leaves me speechless. Seriously.
Totally not Wolverinexaos
That's not what he looks like in the trailer, I like this one better, totally teenage Wolverine. :P
But why is Iron Man fighting Captain Harlock? :\Iron man looks awesome.... the same cannot be said for wolverine :|

Whoever designed that Wolverine is a failure at art.
And I'm not even a Woverine fan over here, it just looks hideous.
[QUOTE="th3warr1or"]Phew, for a moment I thought it was going MANGA, lol. But even though at least the comics remain untouched, this is disgusting. Wolverine looks nothing like Wolverine. Yandere
Yeah, they shouldn't mess up manga.
Manga will destroy Marvel Comics, and Marvel Comics will destroy Manga. All the characters will be unrecognizable, and I'll have to read it from Right to Left.[QUOTE="Yandere"][QUOTE="th3warr1or"]Phew, for a moment I thought it was going MANGA, lol. You get used to it.
Marvel game Madhouse the go ahead to re-imagine the franchises. That makes me sad for Wolverine... Iron Man looks amazing though. I wonder what the other 2 Marvel characters their doing. I'm gonna guess Hulk and Spider-Man.

Say what? I enjoyed the Hulk VS very much. Beats the hell out of this anime shenanigans IMO.

I did like both; I was just excited to see a rendition of Thor since he hasn't shown up as often as Logan, and I have quite a place in my heart for the big Norse lug..Seconded :x Yay Hulk v. Thor[QUOTE="xaos"][QUOTE="LikeHaterade"]

Just for the fact that it's anime? Whatever happened to judging something based on it's actual quality rather than based on whether you like the medium or not? :?
