Marvel person or DC person

With Avenger's coming out, well tonight at midnight, and The Dark Knight Rises in the summer thought I ask

Me myself, I like Marvel more. I like how Marvel adds more comedy to there things. although Batman is my 2nd Favorite superhero. I do love DC also, just always been more of a marvel guy. Spider-man is my Favorite

DC only has Batman and their amazing cast of villians, Marvel wins in regards to superheroes, but I think DC has better villains.

Marvel pretty much has the better universe, but I grew up with DC (more so the shows) and still am a fan of them, so DC.

I love Batman graphic novels, but I read a lot of Spidey too. That's the only 2 I really follow, though I want to get into the X-Men storylines.

Comics seem about tied, both with an intresting mix pf pros & cons

On animation though, DC dominates (BatmanTAS, Batman Beyond, Supermn, Justace League/Unlimited, ect ect)

I'm much more of a DC guy and Batman > All (from either side) but I do love the X-Men and Spider-Man

I'm happier with how the DCU is currently compared to Marvel since IMO Marvel ruined Spider-Man with Brand New Day and X-Men isn't at its best at the moment.

Marvel wins when it comes to movies simply because they have more out there although I think Nolan's Batman films are better than anything Marvel has put out. Likewise DC wins TV because they have more out there, but DC absolutely destroys Marvel in animation and I wouldn't even really consider that an opinion I'm pretty sure any sane person would agree.

Both are good, and have pros and cons. I guess if I had to pick it would be Marvel simply because I have read more of those books in my life.

For comics definitely Marvel but DC has better movies like batman.

For movies, they're about tied. Although I have to admit, as bad as Green Lantern was, Ang Lee's Incredible Hulk was f*cking terrible. I mean, Batman & Robin was better.

I personally am not a huge fan of either insofar as comics are concerned. Way too much drama in their major lines. After reading three pages of an X-Men comic, I have to see if I still possess real empathy. But I certainly prefer most of Marvel's heroes to DC's.

true. green latern was quite, no, very bad. :P I found Batman and Robin to be comedic because of Arnold Schwarzzneggers perfomance as Mr. Freeze. There are so many bad but funny one liners in that movie.

Batman & Robin is most shocking for the fact that Schwarzeneggar actually made an effort while everyone else just f*cked off. Shumacher has made some incredible films, but at the same time...I can't forgive him for what he did to Batman. But...again...Ang Lee's Hulk. So far, it's the worst superhero movie I have ever seen. Period.

I think the reason why I like Marvel more is because Marvel really does get a lot more exposure. I mean, the only DC characters I like are Batman and Lobo. But Superman being so tragically flawed is what pushed me away from DC - and it's what prompted them to nearly kill the brand. And the storylines in Spiderman and The X-Men are what more or less pushed me away from comic books entirely. I can't stand the over-the-top drama. But I do like some of the characters, even if they are not necessarily represented very well in other media.

I'd say DC, considering i really am only into Batman. the other comics i read are horror.

Marvel, DC is also pretty good.

but recenlty batman fans have become insufferable, so Marvel gets my vote, plus spidey is a better superhero anyways

Marvel is sooo much better than DC.

DC has like 2 good franchises; Batman and watchmen. Maybe superman.

Marvel has tons of franchises; Xmen, Captain America, Iron man, hulk, Thor, Spider man and a million minor heroes who are decent.
