I guess I'm the only person who enjoyed Iron Man 2. I think it was at least as good as the first overall, and even had better action sequences.

I don't see what was so bad about it. Robert Downey Jr. had that same witty rhetoric that he had in the first film, and the same chemistry with Gweneth Paltrow. Additionally, Don Cheadle did a good job as War Machine, Mickey Rourke did a fantastic job as Whiplash, and the action sequences were pretty awesome (aside from the anti-climactic final battle). What am I missing?
I'm glad..taking the boys to see it next Sunday.....I thought Thor was pretty horrible.....I liked the Original Iron Man and Captain America the best....Omni-Slashi kind of agree
Really? Thor was pretty good. chilly-chillnaaah the only cool part about that movie is that it was starring me
Was i the only one that hated Captain America? It started off ok but ended up being really boring. Drakes_Fortunei think most people liked it least of the superhero movies leading to avengers
[QUOTE="Drakes_Fortune"]Was i the only one that hated Captain America? It started off ok but ended up being really boring. Jandurini think most people liked it least of the superhero movies leading to avengers yeah even Hulk was better, the one with Edward Norton.

Thor wasn't as extravagant as most comic book movies, but it makes up for that with its pleasant, small-town setting, its humor, and the "other-worldly being meets Humans" phenomenon, which I always like.

Yeah, the ending was boring IMO. But, The Avengers looks great.
Thor, Captain America, and the Incredible Hulk all got good reviews and those movies were just really average. People honestly are too taken by special effects, pro-America attitude, and the fact that JUST because they enjoyed these comic book characters as kids, that automatically makes any movies they're in now worthwhile; critics are no exception (except Richard Roeper who seems the only smart one in the entire idiot critic bunch), they forgo the fact that these movies have lame villians and substandard scripts. Iron Man was the only legitamately GOOD movie in the entire Marvel movie history (Iron Man 2 was crap in comparison). Robert Downey Junior will be the only saving grace to this film (as he is a genuinely great actor and brilliant as Iron Man), but sadly because all the other actors are younger and more flaunted and easily woo all the moronic teenage girls, they'll get most of the credit for making this movie good.
And Mark Ruffalo as Hulk? Out of everyone they had to choose that freakin guy? He's like the dopiest actor in hollywood. Bleh, I'll be skipping this one.
and somebody PLEEEEAASSSEE fire Samual L. Jackson as Nick Fury! Freakin sick of seeing this old guy as a tongue-in-cheek joke in literally EVERY movie he's in nowadays. The once respectable actor of films like A Time to Kill, Unbreakable, Pulp Fiction, Do the Right Thing and Menace II Society has become nothing more than a flashy joke of an old guy.
Careful what yo usay about him. You wouldn't like him when he's angry. And Mark Ruffalo as Hulk? Out of everyone they had to choose that freakin guy? He's like the dopiest actor in hollywood.

Out of all the build-up movies, the only one I didn't like was Thor and the only one I thought was truly great was Iron Man 1.
Hyped regardless.
