Best. Film. Ever.No movie comes close in sheer awesomeness. This monster disaster picture has everything covered, from the Red-Alert-2-cut-scenes acting and visual effects to the brilliant yet economic editing (try counting how many times you see the very same shot of the giant octopus closing its eye throughout the film). Coupled with some great dialogue by very likeable (not really, no) characters, and you got a winner. Just to give you a taste (spoilers start here), the high point of the film is one third into it, when the Mega Shark leaps out of the ocean several thousands of meters into the sky and, brace yourself, EATS A ************* PLANE!!! Only the images can show the awesomeness, words alone don't do it justice. The rest of the film fails to achieve such glory, but there are still some pretty sweet moments, like the Golden Gate Bridge getting eaten by the shark, and the (anti?) climatic battle between the two beasts, where they wrestle (though it seems like they are mating) for a couple of minutes, die and sink to the bottom of the sea out of tiredness.I urge everyone to see this movie, it never fails to impress. Rent the DVD NAO! Better yet, buy it and give it to a friend.
