Eww Mercedes. Give me an Ariel Atom and I'm good to go.Neon-Tiger
That car is ridiculous. What's its 0 to 60 time again, something like 2.8 seconds?

Yeah almost as good as the 1000cc motorbikes. Most superbikes do 0-60 in under 2 secs.
Yeah, but can a bike corner as well? :P

No not really, but it feels so good to lean around corners knowing that your tyres will not slip. :P
[QUOTE="mattykovax"]Not really,I am more of a muscle car kind of guy. If I could get any car I wanted it would be a 69 camaro.artichokeI don't understand the love for muscle cars. They're ugly and loud. I'd take a European or Japanese car over a muscle car any day..To you maybe. I think they are awesome,I hate european and japanese cars. Its all just opinion. I like death on wheels.

off topic, but this is the right forum for it. that picture i am almost sure is CG made by a friend of mine. it has the same little impurities in the reflection on the glass.... oh, and i don't really like superbikes myself. there are a lot of things you can't particularly do in them, mainly make such awesome noises like luxury cars....

Erm, superbikes sound awesome with performance exhausts, like this
Hahahaha, made by your friend, yeah right, come back when you watch MotoGP then check out Valentino Rossi who is riding the bike is in this pic. How can it be fake? The tyres are better than car tyres.
I dont like merc at all, i dont like their brute force approach to making a car go fast. Anyone can throw a big engine in a car and make it go fast in a straight line which is what mercs do but when it comes to the twisty stuff they fall apart completely.
The mercedes approach is all about brute force engineering similar to (dare i say it) the american approach, i'm totally a BMW man through and through. I much prefer precision engineering than brute force strength and with a beemer u get that in spades, just look at the M3 with its 4L V8 and the M5 with its 5L V10 that both rev to over 8,000rpm, the noise both these cars make is like a chorus of angels singin to me and they both handle superbly in the twisty stuff, something mercedes can only dream of copying.
Each to their own if u like mercs but they're not for me.
I have been in an SL55 AMG, i can tell you now it is a great car, love it.
you have to see it in person to appreciate how big it is, i have also seen an SL63 and CL63 (both of them are owned by people who live near my school)
I drive a 1979 Mercedes Benz 300d. The interior is fantasic condition except for a few cracks in the dashboard. The body looks really good still for being 30 years old, it has a few small dents and scratches and 2 growing rust spots by the front tires which I need to fix. Since its a diesel its not the best winter car but my dad rigged up a plugin so I can keep the starter warmed up on really cold nights.
