Mercedes are for chicks. Men drive BMW's :)thisguy51No, men drive these. The Monaro was also sold in the United Kingdom as the Vauxhall Monaro where it won Top Gear's best muscle car award. To the delight of British motorists, Vauxhall offered the Monaro buyer a special treat prior to the discontinuation of the model: the VXR 500. A Harrop supercharger was installed onto the standard GM 6.0 LS2 engine by Vauxhall dealer Greens of Rainham in conjunction with tuning firm Wortec, bumping up power to 500 bhp (373 kW) and bumping up torque as well to 500 lbf·ft (677 N·m). In addition to this, a shorter gear linkage was added to enable quicker shifts. The resultant acceleration times were impressive at 4.8 seconds from rest to 62 mph (100 km/h).[8]
Can't you buy a house or at least put down a significant down-payment for one for the price of that car? Do people really have that much money to spend?
[QUOTE="clyde46"]its a rebadged Pontiac GTO which was a rebadged Holdon Commedore :| and no it cant knock the socks off a SL63 AMG. not even close For the price, it wont fall apart ( most mercs do), Price/performance its owns the merc. 5.7litre V8 as standard! That will knock the socks off that merc for around £28,000.
FUBAR24
And its not a rebadged GTO, It was built for British roads. The only thing all 3 cars share is the same floorpan.
I guess that I like them, but they are just not for me. I am a fan of the manual transmissions. I don't mean the triptronic either. I enjoy driving the tried and true stickshift.ice_radon
You may like the manual transmission cars, but some new cars are being fitted with motorcycle gearbox's so that means you only have to push up or down on the lever. :P
