Alright guys, some good bands you all mentioned. These are the ones I'm interested in, any albums I should be weary of?CBR600-RR
I'll just give album recommendations
Megadeth - Rust in Peace, Peace Sells But Who's Buying, the System has Failed (for newer, yet not crap, stuff)
Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast
Dream Theatre - Train of Thought, Metropolis Pt 2 Scenes from a Memory
Symphony X: the Odyssey, the new one Paradise Lost isn't bad either. No bad albums from them really, though V is harder to get into
Slayer: Seasons in the Abyss, Reign in Blood, South of Heaven (for a bit slower)
Testament: Practice What You Preach (for older style), the Gathering (for newer). The new one, Formation of Damnation, isn't too bad. Just know that the older stuff has less gruff vocals
Bonded by Blood: they only have one album. rules though
Municipal Waste: Art of Partying, newest album, is the best
Overkill: don't listen to enough overkill, but no particularly bad albums. they're renowned for putting out the same album again and again.....
Nevermore: This Godless Endeavour, Dead Heart in a Dead World, Politics of Ecstasy and Demise
Primal Fear: Seventh Seal, new one "New Religion" isn't bad
Katatonia: Viva Emptiness, latest cd isn't bad either
Evergrey: Recreation Day, Inner Circle (concept album!)
Hammerfall: don't know enough, as I don't like them
Sonata Arctica: Silence
Mercenary: The Hours that Remain
particularly good songs
Megadeth: Holy Wars
Iron Maiden: Hallowed Be Thy Name
Symphony X: Inferno
Slayer: War Ensemble
Testament: Envy Life (old), More than Meets the Eye (new)
Bonded By Blood: Immortal Life
Municipal Waste: sadistic magician
Overkill: Bats in the Belfry
Nevermore: My Acid Words
Primal Fear: Rollercoaster
Katatonia: My Twin
Evergrey: Recreation Day
Hammerfall: again, don't know
Sonata Arctia: Wolf and the Raven
Mercenary: REDEFINE ME!!!!
happy youtubing ;)
