I'm talking about reaching out to all people all around the world and sharing thoughts and opinions on anything..
Then, what's this particular fascination with the middle-east?Well, as well as there are fascinations about other countries, u can find some here.. for example, Jordan has MANY historical sites that goes back to the Romans, and are the destination of a lot of western tourists. also, Jordan is known for the angry faces of people that it makes u laugh your gut out. I am Jordanian but thank god i'm not like them... these are just a few from whats here.
Lebanon, for example, is famous for its amazing night life and friendly people and also has amazing sites and places of its won.
Dubai is known for using technology in everything they do more than any other country in the world. have u ever tried to check that out? and thats just to mention a few..
I live in the middle-east. I don't need checking out.I'm failing to see what you are really aiming for with this thread, why are you calling out people of a particular nationality and why did you use the term Arab, I don't understand how calling somebody an abbreviation for Arabian is ok but Pakistani or Nigerian abbreviations are off limits. Anybody here offended by being refered to as an Arab?
in the UK the abbreviation for pakistani is an offensive term like the "n word", you didnt even have to be from pakistani and you were called p@ki. it was used as a racist term by national front and other racists against south asians. theres nothin offensive about the word arab. -Y2J-
exactly, im not aiming at arabs only, i just addressed the arabs here so i can see them, they are my people after all, i didn't say that non arabs cant talk, thats the exact opposite of this thread. im here along with my fellow arabs to connect and reach out to all nations, thats all.

I am middle eastern, even though I live in the US.
DeMoN_SouL_666
hey Jak, do u visit the Middle East? what differences are there between the US and whichever middle eastern country u know about?
i have some plans on going to the US for study and work, i wanna know the differences.
I have only been to the middle east a few times, I have been to Palestine and Jordan, my family is from Palestine. The last time I went was like about 11 years ago, but yeah the middle east is quite different, I don't remember the difference a whole lot, but I do remember I used to played out at night, something I don't do here often. :P
Where in the middle east are you from? :)
Wait, Alladin is Arab? I could've sworn he's Indian. What's with the tiger called Raj and all those elephants? Born and lived in Kuwait for 10 years - really fun place to experience. Going there for summer vacation again, might stop at Dubai or Bahrain too. I'm not Arab or Middle Easterner though, but I always get mistaken for one :?Can anyone remember a time when Muslim and Arab did not automatically bring up mental images of masked C4 laden pyscopaths with Ak-47's?
You know images like, Aladdin, magic lamps, genies, flying carpets, and Sultans came to mind. Or maybe the people with large golden domed roofed buildings or that language that is extremely difficult to learn.
But all that was ruined just becuase a couple of morons decided to ram a few planes into some buildings.

It's not offensive, simply because people aren't offended by it. Just because other short words are offensive doesn't mean this one is too.I'm failing to see what you are really aiming for with this thread, why are you calling out people of a particular nationality and why did you use the term Arab, I don't understand how calling somebody an abbreviation for Arabian is ok but Pakistani or Nigerian abbreviations are off limits. That just reminded me that my Fila shirt was made in Jodan. I thought it was cool because I rarely see anything that says Made In Jodan.

lol if its any big company or product line like Fila, its probably fake, sorry to say that man... we have very little products that are made for export only and we don't see them in our shops and Fila is not one of them. at least that's to my knowledge :) i'll look into that further..
