More racial diversity in gamespots reviewer/presenter team?

Why not. If reviewer or presenter knows what's up. What really matters is his information about the industry. Right now Gamespot needs someone who can replace Kevin VanOrd. He was the only one who played some niche genres. Others are more into blockbuster type games from EA and stuff. Not interested.

The only people who are truly white (as far as skin color goes) are albinos. Everyone else is just a different shade of brown.

I also have dark brown eyes and hair. There are tons of blondes in Minnesota because of the large German/Scandinavian population here. People who think only blonde haired and blue/green eyed people are white must realize they're venturing a little too close to an ideology that originated in 1930s Germany. A white person is essentially someone of European ancestry. That's it. Some people are just too ignorant, too elitist, or too racist to acknowledge that, I guess.

Well, it's one thing if GS is deliberately avoiding hiring certain minorities. As far as I know, they have no policy like that. They may just be hiring the best people they have available. If you're a minority, and think they need more diversity, put in a job application.

Whatever gets you more money I guess. I have yet to see a fat ugly bumbaclot as a gamespot presenter. This is one of the worst forums I have ever been to..Nothing good comes out of it. And the mods are probably the worst. its hard to believe that not a even a single person from another race qualified to be a gamespot staff.

Dem raasclart!! Funny everyone saying "it doesn't matter what colour as long as they do a good job" i wonder if they would still say that if the gamespot presenters were all black or mexican or chinese, maybe maybe not.

Sure, skin colour doesn't have much to do with reviewing videogames... now correct me if I'm wrong, but skin colour likely doesn't have much to do with studying chemistry at a top university, or applying for a job for a company , does it? Alas, skin colour does have an influence on things, one which is mostly negative, and it's an influence we should try to eliminate.

In this sense, TC I get where you're coming from. However, given Gamespot's history of tolerance and accommodation, even, to ask for a more liberal stance where hiring is concerned seems to me a bit unfair on the staff.
