The word Shorty. What the hell is it?! Everyone referring to their girls as their "Shorty". Especially when its in every song and then the public thinks its acceptable to say and start using it in every day life. Also in Australia, lots of people end their sentence with "aye". Drives me nuts. "Yeah the footy was good last night aye" *not in question tone* "yeah aye" "hows things with you aye?" "yeah good aye" ... *facepalm*djzootieDo you mean aye pronounced eye or aye pronounced hey without the h? If you mean the latter, your mistaken with Canada :P.
A word I have found to be annoying recently is "yum" as in "that song is yum". The ****?

[QUOTE="BIGBUZZ55"][QUOTE="Scorsese_Fanboy"]I think the word gay is overused in today's society, and in a very negative context. I hate it when people use it because it's so vague and clearly has a negative connotation. People use it describe every single thing; "That movie was gay "I'm not doing this assignment, I think it's gay "That sucks, that's so gay It really shows how limited the youth's vocabulary is when that is the only word they seem to use. Being around people who use it constantly, I am guilty of having used it various times. However, when I speak I try my hardest not to use it at all, unless I'm talking about homosexuals themselves. It really shows how homophobic society has become when the word gay is the most negative word one can use.
I also hate it when people say "I be ____," to describe their current state or something about themselves or "He be____," "She be____," "They be ____" to describe someone else's state or someone else. For example, "He be doing too much," or "They be talking about us." It really gets on my nerves.
People also succeed in annoying me when they say, "finna."
The n-word also comes to mind. I admit, numerous of the artist I listen to use that word too; even the most progressive emcees use this word. However, it annoys me when it is overused up to the point that that's all one hears. It especially annoys me when people who aren't African-Americans themselves use it. This happens all the time, especially with the "gangsters." I walk into a crowd of Asians or Mexicans and that's all I seem to hear.
Scorsese_Fanboy
this gay n****a be hatin'
Haha, you forgot to implicate "finna" lol.
