Yeah..'Too Many Humans' is a beautiful piece of music. Freebird is also awesome. Difficult to choose. I also like the solo in Sweet Child o' Mine by GNR.

I also like Paradigm Shift by Liquid Tension Experiment. It's an instrumental song, basically a 9 minute guitar solo :P

For me it would have to be the bridge of destiny outro solo by Arch Enemy, it is simply breath taking, mezmerizing and an absolute example that speed isnt all that is needed for a good solo. Freebird was a complete holocaust. So unbelievably boring and undeveloped. I would have to go with Texas Flood, Cause We've Ended as Lovers, Machine Gun, Telegraph Road and We're Going Wrong.

I second that, Kissing shadows is amazing.

Any solo in a Pink Floyd song is drenched in epic. David Gilmour just flat out brings it to the table and lays it out with every solo.
